"We just returned from 4 great days at 10 Mugho Lane, and would definitely be back. The house sits on the 11th hole of the Woodlands golf course so feels more private than other Sun River properties. The kitchen is well-appointed with all the gear needed to cook great meals. The bedrooms are comfy and, as others have noted, the house's layout gives each room has a lot of privacy. We enjoyed the hot tub, the bikes, and the SHARC passes. I had expected to spend a lot of time with the kids at the SHARC but we were all a little overwhelmed by how busy it was and preferred to bike and hike instead. Vacasa was great and responded to our one enquiry promptly. The only suggestion I have for the owners, and it's pretty minor, are some sharper knives. Thanks for a great vacation."

"Five Iron Lodge is a great place for large family vacations. This home is decorated very nicely and is well maintained. The kitchen is large enough for several cooks/food preparers and has plenty of cooking supplies. We loved the openness of the the main floor family room, dining area and kitchen. There are two other living areas that are perfect for the kids. We had a great time biking, golfing, hiking, fishing, swimming and sight seeing. We all enjoyed our time at the Five Iron Lodge and are so grateful to the Tro's for sharing their home with us. Ann is a pleasure to work with and always responded to emails quickly. Thanks Ann!!!"

"I went to Sunriver for the first time for a conference and booked this rental. Upon arriving, we were more than please with the condition of the house, beautiful bedroom finishings, and above all, the resort quality bathrooms. Being able to relax in the double headed master shower after a long day... worth every penny. We'll be booking this house again, no doubt about it!"

"Our extended family of 10 adults and 4 little kids had a great time in Sunriver at this beautiful home. We have been coming to Sunriver annually for 5 years now for a summer vacay with the family. This home is very nice. The few things we'd like to see improved are: the sofa bed is horrible. Really can't be slept on. I hope the owners will replace the mattress. The kitchen isn't very well stocked. No baking pans, very few useful utensils. The dishes are nice, but there weren't enough drinking glasses. We ended up using paper cups. The bedrooms are all nicely furnished. The bathroom towels were very scratchy, like they'd been hung up wet to dry. There were too few towels. In the downstairs master we had 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth. No extras to be found anywhere. The other bathrooms were also slim on towels. It would also be nice to include some beach towels. When family members fly in, it's hard to pack these big towels. Our biggest complaint this year was that the North Pool was not available. It is now ONLY for owners. If you are paying big bucks to stay in a nice house in Sunriver, too bad for you. We rented this house specifically to be near the North Pool which we prefer because it is less crowded. We were only able to use the SHARC ( free passes were included with the house ! ) but it was sooooo crowded, it kind of took the fun out of it. No place to sit, no chairs available. Overall, in spite of all my complaints here, we had a wonderful family vacation. We will probably return to Sunriver sometime, but not up this far north, since the North Pool is no longer available. Also, the marina is now only open to owners unless you want to pay $8.00 to park there. That stinks !!"
