"My husband and I make an annual summer pilgrimage to Bend, and this is our favorite place to stay.
The number one criteria for finding a good rental home is the commitment that the owner has to its guests. This owner fills that description to at "T."
Although the kitchen was lacking a few small household items, he immediately reimbursed us for replacing them. The home was immaculate, clutter-free, and very quiet.
We rode our bikes to downtown Bend, and were just 5-15 minutes away from every possible convenience. The West side includes a vibrant Northwest Crossing community, coffee shops, restaurants, bike trails, Shevlin Park (a treasure), and plenty of upscale grocers.
Appliances and electronics worked very well. We could tell the owners maintained the home nicely.
The home would be totally complete if it had a hot tub. I hope the owner will consider installing one.
Otherwise, this is a GEM. But don't tell anyone! We want to rent it again next year."

"This condo is located close (enough) to town, to Mount Bachelor, to the Old Mill area, and to biking and hiking trails. Me and my wife felt that the location was the most convenient aspect of staying here. The upstairs loft room was too tempting to our two year old, and whenever we weren't looking she'd bolt upstairs and we'd panic she'd fall down into the living room area. We'd have brought our indoor child gate if we'd thought to. Schlepping stuff upstairs (bikes, skis, other gear) was inconvenient, but being on the top floor afforded a more open and airy living room. The condos on the other side of the parking lot have views of the river and ours looked out over trees and Century Drive just beyond the trees. We hiked and biked right out the front door, something we appreciated. Overall, it was a great deal."
