"Lots of room and a great location for bike riding. Very clean and nice kitchen area. If you like the best shower ever you need to check out the master bedroom up stairs. We will be staying here again this summer and looking forward."

"I'm sure you've seen all the FIVE STAR reviews below mine.....I am in total agreement! What a great house!
I will stay here every year! (Yes, Bend is amazing!) The kitchen is more than fully stocked, along with a BBQ right out the back door.
The linens were soft, and the home was clean and comfortable. The walkability score on this home would probably fall in the 90-95 area...Easy to get anywhere, including right over to the river in minutes. Even my little dog felt at home in the fully fenced back yard! These folks really know how to create a great vacation environment!"

"We had a wonderful time with our extended family while staying at this home. The kids, ages 7 to 25, all had enough space and the yard, hot-tub, dining room and family room made being together easy and comfortable. Everyone had a nice bedroom upstairs. The house was well-equipped for our meals and the hot tub and large yard were really pleasant. Easy to get to some great hiking trails from this location. The large yard was nice and we enjoyed deer and tons of birds every day. Everything worked well and Connie was really helpful in planning our trip and meeting us at the house. We all hope to come back to this house again!"

"We just returned from a family reunion to Sunriver and stayed at this beautiful home. It is large and nicely appointed. We were especially impressed with the kitchen. It is well stocked, including a rice cooker, electric skillet, all sorts of baking dishes, sugar, brown sugar, flour, even syrup! Each family had their own room and bathroom and the kids had a great time going to the SHARC, riding the bikes, and playing air hockey. Family members from Southern California were especially impressed with all the deer that showed up...there were 6 or 7 standing just beyond the deck at one point.
The owner, Gale, is very responsive to emails and phone calls which I appreciate. We have stayed in many VRBO homes and this one was very comfortable for our large group (with one exception explained below).
Some things to note: renters are no longer allowed to use any pool other than the SHARC, which gets very, very, crowded. Our favorite pool has always been the North Pool but we could not use it this time. The homeowners of Sunriver voted to make it an "owners only" pool...this would affect all rental homes, not just this one.
The 16 SHARC passes save you a lot of money. It was $56 for a 3 day pass for 1 person, luckily we didn't have to buy any as we had enough with the house.
There were some cleanliness issues but we let Gordon know so hopefully he's able to discuss with housekeeping.
The deck was a lot smaller than I thought from the pictures, we really didn't spend any time on it other than the people BBQing but it didn't really affect us...
The AC does not work very well when it's hot out (which is when we want the AC to work). The downstairs was able to stay relatively cool at night but upstairs was uncomfortably hot all day and night. There was barely any air flowing out of the vents. We kept the blinds shut and opened windows at night but everyone complained about how hot it was, which I thought we had avoided by renting a house with AC. If you are renting in the summer, I'd bring a fan."
