  • A Home Away from Home

"We had a lovely week at the Bogarts' Bed & Breakfast. Patty and Mark were wonderful hosts. We had a yummy breakfast our first morning there, it was sooo good. We traveled all the back byways and were glad to get back to our "Baker City" home each evening. We didn't see any wild life in our travels except for the squirrels in their beautiful back yard, and a family of quails that live somewhere close to their yard. They were fun to watch. If our travels take us back to Eastern Oregon, we know where we will stay."

  • A Great Vacation Spot

""Wapiti Cabin" turned out to be a delightful home with an outstanding view of the Powder River. The "cabin" was neat and clean and equipped with modern appliances as well as a complete supply of quality dishes, cooking utensils, and silverware. The cabin's custom made king size beds and dining room table were very impressive. During our stay we visited Baker City and made the short drive to Haines for dinner at the Haines Steak House, but mostly we just relaxed at the cabin. My wife worked on her quilting and I fished the river. We spent a fair amount of time sitting on the porch enjoying the peace and quiet and admiring the view. The abundant wildlife, ranging from numerous bird species to mule deer browsing in the yard, certainly added to our enjoyment. Thanks for a great stay. We plan to visit Wapiti Cabin again."

  • I want to go back!

"This is an absolutely beautiful home. I would like to go and just spend time there perhaps sitting on one of the chairs on the porch. The wood work and exposed beams make it stylishly rustic. A deer spent a few hours right outside watching us-watching him from different windows. This is a beautfiul property."
