"We enjoyed our stay very much! The cabin is as described and has very comfortable livingroom seating areas with a very nice rustic fireplace as well as a potbelly gas fireplace, which kept the cabin warm, and the beds were very comfortable. There was WiFi and hot tub, which we enjoyed. Although, it is located in a little congested neighborhood area; my reason for rating 4stars; there were several rundown homes very close to the cabin and the gravel road to reach the cabin was a little ruff. Not things the owner would be responsible for, but worth mentioning, because we were surprised when we first pulled into the area where the cabin was situated. We'd assumed it would be situated in an area of its own. Nonetheless, it still was pleasant and quiet, and we weren't bothered. We had six adults in our group, and we had plenty of room. Our purpose for staying in the area was to go snowboarding. It took us about 20 mins from the cabin to Timberline Lodge and there were several places to eat and buy last minute supplies, etc. We had all our meals at the cabin; it had a fully stocked kitchen with very nice cooking essentials and pots and pans. We had some very last minute changes and the owner was very accommodating and very responsive to emails & messages. In fact, she was outstanding! We would definitely stay there again."

"This was the perfect place for enjoying family and the outdoors. We hiked every day and returned to a wonderful airy home. The porch was perfect for eating, relaxing and appreciating the Oregon outdoors. The kitchen was fantastic. The master bedroom, with the river right outside the window, gave me the best sleep I've had in years. I want to come back again!!!!!"

"This cabin was clean, warm and beautifully laid out. Only a stone's throw from the Sandy River, the small cabin seemed much larger due to two side by side sliding class doors blanketing the east wall. These large windows allowed for the glorious morning sunshine to flood the whole house.
Clean kitchen with amenities, huge back deck with outdoor table and chairs, as well as a small BBQ grill. Highly recommend this for a couple looking to get away from the daily grind for a reasonable price."

"What a gem of a place and in the perfect location! I rented the cabin for our ten year anniversary. It was just as described. The claw foot tub was perfect, the fireplace was well stocked and even a lighter was supplied. So many wonderful homey touches. The porch was lovely with old fashioned rocking chairs that overlooked the creek. The other patio has a table and chairs and BBQ. The kitchen is beautiful and the dining table is gorgeous! You could easily have a family get together of 8 people there. TV, internet, dvd and vhs. There are games, movies, walking canes, candles, the list goes on and on. Then the cabin itself...what a historic beauty. To be out in this area in a cabin built almost a 100 years ago was amazing. The creeks, the structure, all so rustic and homey. The beds are comfy and warm. If you are looking for new and modern cone=conveniences this isnt a good fit but if you want to experience a country cabin experience, this is for you.We will be staying there again."
