"It was my turn to host Thanksgiving this year so I thought we would all (twenty family members) stay at one place instead of hotels. Maple River Retreat was everything I could ask for! It accommodated us all comfortably with ample room to cook, play and just relax, there are beds for 16 not 20, but this was not a problem because some folks brought air mattresses. When we ran low on wood to burn Becca promply restocked us, even on Thanksgiving day. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at the Resort at the Mountain (I would recommend it). Some of my family members had never been to the NW and needless to say they were speechless with the beauty and the retreat! Becca thankyou so much for sharing this wonderful house I would not hesitate to come back!"

"Great views, every comfort you could need, well stocked, and clean as can be! We stayed during a heat wave, so I was concerned about no air conditioning. No need! The natural air conditioning came through the windows and cooled things down every evening for perfect sleeping conditions. Two very nice fans were also available for those who like to keep the air moving. We found many nice sight seeing areas very close by, and good restaurants too. But when my son saw the nice grill provided he suggested we immediately go buy some nice steaks for dinner! I found preparing my kids favorite chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast to be no problem in the well stocked kitchen as well. The 2 full bathrooms were a plus when the five of us got ready to go to the wedding that brought us to this beautiful area. Thank you to Carol for being so accommodating and granting several special requests that we had. I would recommend this beautiful property to anyone visiting the area."

"My family loved our stay at this cabin. The backyard view was amazing. Great big firepit we all could gather around... well placed hot tub. The cabin had ton of space, with bathrooms for all. Could not have enjoyed more."

"We really enjoyed the location, close to a lot of hiking and Mt. Hood. Clean, cozy and equip with everything you could want. Touch and go cell and wifi, so not a good place if you have business - because you'll have to take a drive. I know, who works on vacation... The river within walking distance down the gravel road was a nice after dinner treat with a glass of wine, the hot tub was amazing and it was pretty quite expect for the neighbors barking dog. The living room was very comfortable, large dining table and nice outdoor seating. Oh, and I agree the steps leading upstairs are a bit precarious! Overall very comfortable and matches the pictures well. I would stay here again!"
