  • Great place for a group!

"Recently stayed here with a group of 10 and it was a great layout with plenty of beds and common areas. We loved the location and this condo worked perfectly for a fun weekend in government camp."

  • Amazing Weekend on the River!

"My wife and I, (along with the BozDog) recently spent a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing weekend at the cabin. Located at the end of a paved road, you feel completely isolated, and yet you are an easy 5-10 minute walk to the local stores, restaurants, etc. There are well marked trails for all levels of hiking or mountain biking, pre-cut fire wood available for the wood stove or the outside firepit, and a creek that literally runs right around the cabin. There is even WiFi and TV if you get tired of looking out the large windows to the trees and creek, playing ping-pong, or need a break from a good book. We highly recommend the cabin to everyone we know, and look forward to many more visits. Thank you for all the hospitality Natasha, and for making this such a great place to come too- we will be back!"

  • Perfect for us!

"Perfect! I travelled down with my two boys whom where attending Summer snowboard camp for the week and it was perfect for us. Close to everything, super clean and made for a great low stress week. Can't wait for next year."

  • Mt hood townhouse

"The space was really great. Very nicely decorated and clean. Description was pretty accurate and photos okay. The kids next door were pretty noisy at times, but not during sleeping hours. Good location for hikes and day trips. Lots of other activities, so good for many different interest. Lots of kid stuff. Wasn't understanding tv and had no instructions. Had never used internet on TV and there was no local programming on the downstairs tv, but supposedly upstairs on a system I never heard of and there were no places to sit and watch or instructions."

Government Camp Travel Tips

Government Camp Vacation Rentals Near Ski Areas

Timberline Lodge and Summit Ski Area are just moments from vacation rentals in Government Camp. When looking for an ace to stay for a ski vacation, cottages in Government Camp are a great option. You gain all of the benefits of a ski area without the crowded atmosphere of staying at the lodge. Instead, you can relax in a private cottage with your family.

Recreation for Every Season with Government Camp Lodging

Less than 30 minutes from Government Camp you'll find Mt. Hood Adventures. In the winter, Mt. Hood Adventures offers guided snowmobile rides across the Cascade Mountains and Mt. Hood National Forest. In the warmer months you can enjoy mountain hikes, kayaking, and horseback riding excursions through Mt. Hood Adventures.

Mt. Hood & The Gorge Cottages Are Near Fun Activities

Save on Travel Expenses by Staying in Government Camp Lodging

Instead of spending every meal at a restaurant, you can utilize the private kitchen available in some Government Camp rental cottages to stay in for some meals. Take advantage of cottages with laundry rooms available rather than going to a laundromat. Take advantage of the private land that accompanies many cottages to create your own free activities.

Enjoy the Amenities of Vacation Rentals in Government Camp

Bring your family dog to a Government Camp cottage that is pet friendly. Look for cottages with a private indoor or outdoor pool or a deck complete with Jacuzzi. Multiple bedrooms may be available, providing space for the whole family.
