  • The perfect house!

"This was our second time staying in this beautiful home! The house is great for large groups. Plenty of rooms throughout so everyone has their own space. The house is starting to show to age and wear. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint. But overall still very pleased with this home. It has everything! The location is also great. We were able to walk right downtown for shopping, lunch and even hit a local winery!"

  • really really awesome!

"So.. I was debating writing a review because I have never reviewed anything on the internet before, and because I really don't want anyone else to know about this place, but so as to avoid bad karma for being selfish, I will say, this bed and breakfast is awesome! It looks like one of those cabins on 'those TV shows specifically about awesome cabins', and has direct views of Mt. Hood. It is also in the fruit loop, which is a very good thing if you know what that means- especially in the fall. Also, breakfast was better than any breakfast I have had in Portland- which has some pretty good breakfast places. Nilsa is also awesome and makes you feel right at home, but not in an awkward sort of way. You can however, be awkward yourself, and eat your breakfast in your room or outside if you don't like the whole 'sitting with a bunch of people you don't know business'. One more thing, there is a room with a private jacuzzi outside of it, so you can hang out and stare at Mt. Hood in a spa."

  • Great Location and Amenities - Small Bed!

"We came into town for the Annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting as it was my birthday weekend. The loft is absolutely beautiful and is very well appointed. The location can't be beat, you can walk to everything downtown and it was nice and quiet with a gorgeous view. One whole wall of the apartment is windows and it is light, airy and surprisingly private. The only thing that was not for us was the small bed. I wish I had a tape measure because I would bet it is a double and not a queen. We sleep on a king bed at home and we could not get a good night's sleep on such a small bed. The bed itself is really comfortable, so if you like to snuggle all night, or just one person slept in it, it would be great. I ended up on the couch so it was a little less than what we wanted but it was only due to our preference. The property management company was just great. We will definitely rent from them again, we'll just find a rental with a king bed!"

  • Ideal location, spectacular views, cozy accommodations!

"This rental was a great experience! We had an extended stay in hood river, and this place offered all accommodations we could need, as well as one of the most amazing views we could want. The landlord was incredibly kind and accommodating and we would definitely stay here again. The location is ideal. It is an easy walk to almost anywhere downtown and a quick drive to the heights."
