  • Gorgeous view!

"Located in a peaceful small town, very clean, with comfortable beds, updated bathrooms. The only negative was the noise from the highway echoes off the river. That would be the same anywhere you stay as Interstate 84 runs along the river. Very convenient location to all the sights in the area. The owner was very helpful, she answered all of our questions about the area, she is a wonderful person who has lead a very interesting life. We really enjoyed our stay in Mosier."

  • An Abundance of Thanksgiving

"The moment we pulled in the driveway we felt welcome. The towering pines enveloped us, the music echoed in the warm cabin, and many comforts of home that were absolutely unexpected were found in this lovely cabin. The hot tub is surrounded by towering pines and has an excellent view of the river. The spot is perfect if you want privacy along with the sound and the beauty of the tumultuous river. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a Thanksgiving meal. It was the perfect place to spend a Thanksgiving week with my daughter and her boyfriend (and the dog loved it too)."

  • A cozy wood cabin haven.

"We pulled up at Dancing Bear Cabin set amongst the trees. In the grassy front yard woodland flowers were just coming into bloom. Immediately we felt we'd come home to nature. We were excited to open the heavy front door and find out what lay within. This exceeded our expectations. The kitchen is cozy (but has a table big enough to seat our family of 5 plus one guest) and well equipped. The main room has a beautiful stone fireplace, 2 couches, 2 rocking chairs, cushions, and fleecy blankets aplenty. There are 3 bedrooms with plenty of bedding (very tasteful PENDLETON blankets and drapes throughout the cabin.) My youngest son was eager to explore outside and we discovered a deck with a bridge crossing a stream and a wild garden beyond. Great fun! This is a perfect place for a family or friends who want to explore the outdoors and then come home to an evening of quiet with space to read, play a game of cards, reflect and share good times. Mount Hood is close by and when we were there, there was an abundance of snow at Timberline. Our family had a wonderful time here."

  • "We really enjoyed the little hike with our 5-year-old granddaughter to Little Zig Zag Falls and playing along the banks of the Sandy River just down the street from the cabin. We also enjoyed spending time in the hot tub and making s'mores using a fire in the fire pit in back. We ate at Zig Zag Inn one evening and the food was ok, but the atmosphere was fun. The Skyway Bar and Grill was a very fun family experience with its outside seating and activities available for kids and the BBQ was good. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay!"
