  • Fantastic place with incredible customer service!

"First off, the owners were extremely quick to answer any questions I had about the property and were very polite. The property was easy to find, quiet, and was very comfortable. The hot tub was well maintained and clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need including baking pans, and the beds were comfy. The only minor problem was the oven's heating element self destructed on our second day, but we were able to bake what we needed in the large toaster oven. I emailed the owners about it and provided the model number so they could get a replacement ordered, and they were extremely concerned about our needs and continued to check in with me. Kudos for that! We 100% recommend the Hilltop Hideaway and will be back for sure!"

  • Perfect home away from home

"Great place to stay in the Mt. Hood - Columbia River area. Away from the crowds, yet close to everything you need (groceries, gas, restaurants). Very clean and comfortable. It has a very comfortable KING bed which can be hard to find. It was in the woods but near the necessities. Perfect place to stay! Thanks!"

  • Loved the location and sooo clean.......

"Kathy was able to accommodate a last minute booking for us. The VRBO cabin we had booked for that week was really dirty and buggy and we decided to switch to Kathy's Kottage. It was lovely, spacious, the kitchen was awesome! The best part about it was the proximity to Timberline Lodge, we loved going there for dinner in the evenings and watching the sunset. The cottage was a little close to the highway, so we could sometimes hear the traffic, but that was a small price to pay for the location and convenience. Kathy was very sweet and accommodating, and we really appreciated the videos she provided. Yes, book this place, it's great!"
