  • Excellent Accommodations! Everything we need was there...

"My family and I stayed at Kathy's Kabin during our trip to Oregon and I could go into all the details about how much we enjoyed Kathy's home but, there isn't enough room to really mention about all the wonderful ammentites Kathy has provided! The beds were so comfy and Kathy has put a lot of thought into her kitchen supplies! All the cooking utensils were there that I needed, as usually I encounter problems with not enough, like crock pots, electric skillet, etc., but everything was there. Kathy even had a coffee grinder and a bread machine. We cooked one night on Kathy's BBQ, and ran out of propane, but low and behold, she had another full tank right beside, how convenient was that! Kathy has thought of everything.... All I can say was WOW! Talk about clean, I don't know how she does it, but even the light switches were clean. My light switch covers usually have finger prints all over them, but not here at Kathy's Kabin! Most rentals we've stayed in had that musty smell, but somehow Kathy doesn't have that in hers, all you smell is CLEAN! This place is gorgeous and she has really paid attention to all the details. It's so cutesy, all decorated in Moose Theme. Our oldest son stayed in the John Wayne room and he said he could hear the rain on the roof one night and it put him right to sleep. Our 2 girls stayed upstairs in the loft and we couldn't get them to leave! We usually bring their games with us, but this trip we forgot, but no worries, Kathy had several games which kept them busy, they had a ball! Our next trip up here will be to Kathy's Kottage! I've seen the pictures and that's next on our "Bucket list"! We wanted to stay there, but she was booked. That's ok, because we really enjoyed ourselves, just the same. I'm happy to have had the experience of her cabin. Thank you Kathy for allowing my family to really enjoy our trip to the MOUNTAIN in your beautiful log cabin. Oops...Log Kabin! I would highly recommend Kathy's Kabin to everyone! You have to come stay atleast once and you will definitely come back. We are going to check out her Cottage next time, if it's available!"

  • Awesome condo!

"Our stay was delicious! It's a very nice condo close to the river and not far from Mt Hood. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the sauna and the hot tub in the club house as well as the large condo we stayed in. Price is a little on the high side since you have to do quite a bit of cleaning yourself, like start dishwasher and washer, bring out garbage, set the heaters on a certain setting, fold the cover for the master bed and leave it at the end of the bed and so on..."

  • Great place to relax and escape the Portland heat

"My husband, dog and I spent a relaxing week at Silver Cedars. I have "creaky" knees so we slept in the cozy "Yosemite" room downstairs and took advantage of the level trail along the river. We also enjoyed nearby Trillium anf Timothy lakes, although it was difficult to get an early start when breakfasting on the porch and drinking the fresh coffee that's provided. So fun to play house with the wraparound windows looking out on to green-ness."
