  • DIAMOND in the WOODS

"If you're looking for tranquility, in first class accommodation, then this is the place to stay. Pricing is compriable and I don't think you'll find a nicer place to relax and enjoy the trees. With many things to do nearby, the location is ideal. Looking forward to returning in the future."

  • An excellent choice for a Mt. Hood ski/snow trip

"We were two families (4 adults, 6 young kids) and this house fit our needs/wants to a T. The location was perfect for us. We skied Timberline as it was the hill that best suits our range of skills/needs (nice lodge, good dining, etc) - and this house is essentially at the base of the Timberline exit off the highway. And literally right next to Summit Ski Park, after hours the kids sauntered over to the Summit hill with sleds and it was like a young child's dream to have a hill like that all to themselves for sledding - just steps away. We adults found our amusement watching the kids from the kitchen windows that are perched high and tall with great view, sipping our coffee and laughing hysterically. The house was a joy from the moment we entered. Our kids walked in first and with a fun blueprint the house felt like an adventure from the start (they didn't want to leave). The kitchen was great, the living spaces were cozy, and the design integrated the spaces in a way that provides a festive group experience. Having had a vacation rental ourselves in the past I will attest to the great attention to detail. The list goes on, but the kitchen was well equipped for group cooking/dining, with drawers cabinets all labeled - making it orderly/efficient. There were plenty of games, movies, etc. which the kids indulged in. We happened to have extremely wet weather and were pleased to find two washers and two dryers to make our laundering at days end quicker. Some billiards and hot tubbing for adults later in the evening was certainly nice as well. Coming from Portland it's a short trip for us and we will certainly be back!"

  • Mt hood townhouse

"The space was really great. Very nicely decorated and clean. Description was pretty accurate and photos okay. The kids next door were pretty noisy at times, but not during sleeping hours. Good location for hikes and day trips. Lots of other activities, so good for many different interest. Lots of kid stuff. Wasn't understanding tv and had no instructions. Had never used internet on TV and there was no local programming on the downstairs tv, but supposedly upstairs on a system I never heard of and there were no places to sit and watch or instructions."
