"My husband and I rented this cabin for just the two of us as a quiet getaway from Portland.
We liked the location, just a short walk down a trail to the river. The backyard is a good size and has a nice amount of shade. The hot tub worked beautifully.
The kitchen was well equipped with kitchen items - thank you. There was a cozy living room and a cozy TV room. We're likely to rent this house again for a nice woodsy retreat that isn't super far from Portland."

"We enjoyed our stay very much! The cabin is as described and has very comfortable livingroom seating areas with a very nice rustic fireplace as well as a potbelly gas fireplace, which kept the cabin warm, and the beds were very comfortable. There was WiFi and hot tub, which we enjoyed. Although, it is located in a little congested neighborhood area; my reason for rating 4stars; there were several rundown homes very close to the cabin and the gravel road to reach the cabin was a little ruff. Not things the owner would be responsible for, but worth mentioning, because we were surprised when we first pulled into the area where the cabin was situated. We'd assumed it would be situated in an area of its own. Nonetheless, it still was pleasant and quiet, and we weren't bothered. We had six adults in our group, and we had plenty of room. Our purpose for staying in the area was to go snowboarding. It took us about 20 mins from the cabin to Timberline Lodge and there were several places to eat and buy last minute supplies, etc. We had all our meals at the cabin; it had a fully stocked kitchen with very nice cooking essentials and pots and pans. We had some very last minute changes and the owner was very accommodating and very responsive to emails & messages. In fact, she was outstanding! We would definitely stay there again."

"This home is amazing! It is beautiful, rustic, and spacious! Not to mention, it has a great view with huge windows and a large deck! I have rented this home three different times. With the hot tub, ping pong table, hiking, and more; this is a restful and fun place to stay! It has been such a great place to get away from the busyness and go to a cozy, safe place in the woods! Also, the owner has been GREAT to work with!"

"What a beautiful place! Can't beat that location and beautiful views! We were a family of 8 adults in town for a wedding. It was a wonderful place for friends and family who were also in town to stop by for drinks and dinner. Lots of cooking, lots of eating outside! Everyone was comfortable - plenty of room. We love the house and hope to be back to Hood River soon."
