  • Lovely Cottage Close to the Mountain

"We spent Christmas at the cottage and I would have to say it was one of the best ever! The inside of the house was decorated with a tree full of snowmen, village houses and fake snow on the fireplace mantel and the table was also set with snowmen plates for christmas dinner. Theresa, the owner went over and above our expectations and was very accommodating. The bedrooms were shabby chic, cozy and the bedding was super comfortable and there were even controllable heating pads under the sheets. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 and a short drive of about 25 minutes to the mountain for skiing. We will definitely look to book the cottage again!"

  • One of the Best on the Sandy

"My wife and I booked this cabin last minute because we REALLY needed to get away for the weekend. Lili the owner was very prompt in getting back to us, and I could tell right away this was going to be an easy, pleasant experience. When we arrived at the cabin there were really only upside surprises. The cabin is right next to the river, so we would open the windows and doors leave the screens closed and listen to the river while getting a nice fire going. There is a big yard with hot tub, picnic table, firepit, bbq, and even a horshoe pit. You have plenty of space and no inkling of neighbors. The one thing we were concerned about was one review talked about the water smelling like sulphur? This seems way out of place because the water smelled, looked, tasted fine to us. If there would be one thing I would change although the place is impeccably kept, I would rather pay a little bit more and get some more basic amenities. There was no pepper and we ran out of matches. These were not big problems because Thriftway is 2 miles away and the value for this cabin is really a steal. We will definately go back again, we are from Portland, and this is definately one of the best places on the Sandy we have been to."

  • Nice Time Away

"The stay that my boyfriend and I had here was very nice. The hot tub was well maintained, the kitchen was well laid out so that we could both be in there helping each other. My only complaint about the property was how misleading the pictures were. When I rented the space I was expecting us to have acreage between us and the neighbors, but alas it turned out that they were just on the other side of the fence. Over all a very nice trip away from the city."
