  • Beautiful house and very nice hosts

"Lovely accommodations in a very unique and well kept house. We had an amazing trip and stayed extremely cozy. The property owner was very accommodating and friendly and did their very best to make sure we were comfortable. We will definitely come back again soon."

  • Perfect for us!

"Perfect! I travelled down with my two boys whom where attending Summer snowboard camp for the week and it was perfect for us. Close to everything, super clean and made for a great low stress week. Can't wait for next year."

  • Luxe excellence

"Everything was perfect for us from the moment we opened the door. City living with a view of the river. Clean , comfortable, well set up from the kitchen to the bedroom and bath. Nicely decorated. The neighborhood is great and walkable and the area is spectacular. For food we especially liked Boda's Kitchen , where we picked up wonderful treats for our days touring and hiking and the best chicken dinner ever! Driving along the Historic Columbia River and hiking and walking to the numerous waterfalls, stopping at Multnomah Lodge for lunch, Crowne Point for the views and the architecture, more walking at The Nature Conservancy Preserve along Rowena Crest and following the s curves of the Historic Highway filled our days. We barely scratched the surface of the wineries with tastings at Maryhill with it's phenomenal views and setting and at Cathedral Ridge, right in Hood River. We will return to this region and would not hesitate to stay at Luxe Loft again."

  • really really awesome!

"So.. I was debating writing a review because I have never reviewed anything on the internet before, and because I really don't want anyone else to know about this place, but so as to avoid bad karma for being selfish, I will say, this bed and breakfast is awesome! It looks like one of those cabins on 'those TV shows specifically about awesome cabins', and has direct views of Mt. Hood. It is also in the fruit loop, which is a very good thing if you know what that means- especially in the fall. Also, breakfast was better than any breakfast I have had in Portland- which has some pretty good breakfast places. Nilsa is also awesome and makes you feel right at home, but not in an awkward sort of way. You can however, be awkward yourself, and eat your breakfast in your room or outside if you don't like the whole 'sitting with a bunch of people you don't know business'. One more thing, there is a room with a private jacuzzi outside of it, so you can hang out and stare at Mt. Hood in a spa."
