"We came here from Louisiana not knowing much about the area. Arch Cape for us was perfect. It was not crowded, but you are close to Cannon beach and Manzanita for supplies or dining. If you like to hike (which we do) there are some great trails nearby at Oswald State Park with old growth forests and spectacular views of the Pacific ocean. The house is great and is very well supplied. It is right on the beach with great views. You can't go wrong here."

"This is a lovely spot! The place was fantastic - clean, comfortable, lots of light! We loved the design of the building, too - the sloped roof, concrete floors and lovely accents. The little deck was great to sit on to enjoy the sun and sunsets. Kate was helpful when we had a question, but otherwise our stay felt very private. We stayed here for a long weekend, thinking it would be great proximity to Cannon Beach and Manzanita. It had easy access to both towns, but the beach of Arch Cape was really lovely, too!"

"This house is a real dream, indeed. Four of us (women friends) stayed for a week in early July, and we had a perfect, relaxing time. None of us wanted to leave, and I, for one, plan to return next year. The house is exactly as described, or even better. We enjoyed taking long walks several times daily on the beach, which is minutes away; soaking in the hot tub during cool evenings; doing jigsaw puzzles and watching videos; and sitting up in the top lookout area (accessed through third-floor bedroom), reading and chatting. We also toured the cheese factory at Tillamook and explored many state and national seashore parks within 50 miles of the area. We didn't have time to see them all, nor to stop at each and every small village and town nearby, thought we visited many! We particularly enjoyed Manzanita, Nehalem, Wheeler, and Astoria. Seaside has the nearest big grocery store. I highly recommend the Arch Cape location (for peace, quiet, beauty, and ease of parking). Cannon Beach is only four miles away, but we found Manzanita much more accessible for shopping, strolling, and dining out. We loved Sea Dream! The only suggestion I'd make for improvement would be to have some kind of coverings for the chairs and table on the deck outside the kitchen; pine sap made them too sticky to use. (Note: the house and "condo" room are spread over many levels, as is made clear on the website; it would not be appropriate for anyone with issues about using stairs at least several times per day.)"

"We really enjoyed our stay! The location was amazing! We saw whales and loved walking the beach and finding so much life in the tide pools. The house needs some TLC...the small sofa in living room is ripped to shreds...literally. The bathroom situation was a problem. 10 People with 2 bathrooms, one being located in the master bedroom and has no door, so really unusable for those not staying in the master. Also the shower door in the master is completely unhinged and is falling out, very dangerous. The hot tub cover is almost impossible to lift...needs to replaced. The bedrooms were very nice and the location is unbelievable. Over all, we had a blast!"
