  • Favorite Family Getaway!

"This is our favorite family getaway! We have stayed at the house in every season and each visit is fantastic. Regardless of the weather, the kids have so much fun in the hot tub with the gorgeous view of the ocean and horizon, playing on the beach (love all the beach toys!!) and searching for shells, going into Cannon Beach (Waves of Grain) and Manzanita (Bread and Ocean Bakery) for fun lunch and shopping trips and Astoria for fish and chips (Bow Picker - delicious!) and the incredible Maritime Museum. My husband enjoys practicing his surfing out front and its a quick drive south to Oswald West State Park and North to Indian Head Beach (Ecola State Park) for more waves. We love driving down to Tillamook for a visit to the Cheese Factory (ice cream!) and we've even done the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport for a longer outing. The games and puzzles and videos at the house occupy all of us in the evenings and family meals in the kitchen with the incredible views are always lovely. Thanks for sharing the house with us - we'll be back soon!!!"

  • Great for a group or multi-family

"We "ended up" at this property when we couldn't find what we wanted elsewhere - and couldn't be happier! With beautiful finishes and decor, it felt more like borrowing a friend's vacation home than a rental property. Everything we needed was there including lots of extra linens & towels, cozy blankets, tons of movies and games, and anything you could possibly need in the kitchen. We loved having large living areas both upstairs and downstairs so everyone wasn't constantly on top of each other. I can't imagine a better layout for staying with a group. We hope to be back again, but next time we'll plan to stay even longer!"

  • Had a Great Visit!

"Q. Overall, would you rate your stay: excellent, good, average, fair, or poor. A. Excellent. Q. Was the reservation process helpful and efficient? A. Excellent. It was easy! Q. Did the cottage meet your expectations: A. Excellent. Loved our stay! We'll be back. Q. Do you feel the cottage is fairly priced? A. Yes. Q. Was the cottage as clean as you expected it to be? A. Excellent. Q. Did everything work properly? A. Yes. Q. Are there other services we could provide? A. A charcoal chimney perhaps? That would encourage people to not use lighter fluid, which would be less of a fire risk. (Owner comment: This is a great idea. We are looking for one that will fit under the rain cover for the grill!) Also you might clean out one of the clothes drawers, which currently have extra linens, and find another place to store those. (Owner comment: This is also a good idea - I do have a thought for where the linens could be moved. This is an obvious thing to do and, oddly, no one has suggested it before. Thanks!!) Q. May we post your comments to the website? A. Yes."

Arch Cape Travel Tips

Feel Like a Beach Dweller in Arch Cape Vacation Rentals

While a hotel may sit along the coast, it doesn't provide the home like quality of a vacation rental in Arch Cape. You'll feel like you belong, sipping coffee on a balcony overlooking the ocean or strolling along the beach while the sun sets. The amenities of a cottage in Arch Cape will make you feel at home as well. Cook meals in cottages with private kitchens, wash some clothes in the on-site laundry room, or bring your family dog along for the trip in a pet-friendly cottage.

Arch Cape Lodging on the Oregon Coast Highway

The Oregon Coast Highway, also known as Highway 101, runs between the Columbia River and the California border. From Cannon Beach to Manzantia, Highway 101 runs directly on the coast. Arch Cape is right in the middle of this 25 mile stretch. Spend a day driving along the coast and enjoying the scenic views along the Pacific Ocean.

'"Experience Beauty from Northern Oregon Coast Cottages'

Arch Cape is nestled between several parks including Arcadia Beach State Recreation Site, Del Ray Beach State Recreation Site, Ecola State Park, Hugh Point State Recreation Site, Oswald West State Park, and Tolovana Beach State Park. The Oregon Coast trail provides hiking trails along the beautiful coast line. As an alternative, you could simply spend the day relaxing on the beach and watching the tide come in.

Lodging in Arch Cape Near Activities at Cannon Beach

Just 10 miles north of Arch Cape, along the Oregon Coast Highway, is Cannon Beach. Outdoor recreational activities abound in Cannon Beach. Spend the day fishing or enjoying a round of golf. Take your family horseback riding along coastal trails. Get surfing lessons from a professional or go kayaking. You can also take a tour of Cape Meares Lighthouse.
