"We love to go to Cove Cottage. We have been there in the spring summer and fall. If you love nature, the ocean, hiking, biking, kayaking and just relaxing in a beautiful setting this is a wonderful location. Tucked in Oswald West State Park, with fabulous view of the ocean, a short walk to an uncrowded beach, this home has a spacious and private feeling to it. It is very clean with a vaulted ceiling common room and well outfitted kitchen. We spotted wales right from the deck and we could even see the fins and tail of a young whale as he practiced diving over and over. There are always sand dollars on the beach. This spring we saw the illusive velella velella a diminutive saphire blue relative of the jelly fish with a diaphanous sail, that gets stranded in great numbers on the beach at times in the spring. There are always surprises."

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
This large and roomy beach house has all the comforts of home, and then some. It's close to a marvelous beach, but also right on the major highway, so road noise is ever present, especially when enjoying the beautiful deck and lovely ocean views. We appreciated how well decorated and appointed the house was including marshmallow roasting sticks for the outdoor fire pit. Only thing missing was any kindling or newspapers to help start a fire with the logs provided. No hatchet to make kindling, either. It was problematic when trying to start a fire. We appreciated the attentive service and easy booking with the owner/manager. We enjoyed our stay and loved how convenient it was for day trips to Tillamook, Oswald West Park, Cannon Beach, and Ft. Stevens."

"We had an excellent holiday stay during the 4th of July. Perfect home for a large family.
Great access to the beach and wonderfully landscaped. The house could not be better appointed and the owner's attention to detail is far beyond most rentals. The kitchen has every appliance you could desire and the home's sound system is excellent. Also, the home's lighting system is from the future and will leave you speechless in the evening. This home is expensive...but worth the memory."

"Had a wonderful time on the OR coast. Lodging was clean and comfortable and we were able to do what we came to do...walk the beach, rest, and shop. Easy access to beach (short walk to Sally's Alley). And while not a deal breaker for consideration on my next visit, a few caveats: (1) the house is actually located 6 miles south of Cannon Beach central, b/c who really cares that it's 4 miles from S Cannon Beach. That's residential and downtown is where it's at. (2) there are no lounge chairs as pictured, but rather cheap, plastic ones (with no foot rest). Not a deal breaker, and maybe it's only a summer thing, but don't be surprised. (3) There are two (2) sets of rules sheets, with varying instructions. Go with your best judgement. And lastly, Wifi never showed up on the list. There is a free Wifi, but the one on the sheet was nowhere to be found.
Again, I would consider it for my next visit, because I liked being far away from town and didn't mind the daily hike along the beach into the center. The area is ideal for quiet and rest, and maybe in the summer even some sunshine. We had grey skies all 4 days. AAAAAhhhh, Oregon."
