"My husband and I brought our golden retrievers with us for a beach get-away in April and it was perfect for us. The dogs loved lounging on the deck but also hanging out downstairs where we played Ping-Pong. To walk to the beach there is a convenient and safe tunnel underpass so you can avoid the highway. The beach is not crowded and every bit as nice as the one a few miles north; you can find caves, waterfalls, and the famous "hug point." The strategic location between several state parks and resort areas makes it a winner and the price is much better than nearby places that are directly on the beach. The house itself is very comfortable though older. Having 2 levels, each with a kitchen, and 3 baths makes it nice to share with another family though we had the whole thing to ourselves. The deck is a real plus; nice view of the ocean waves."

"We love to go to Cove Cottage. We have been there in the spring summer and fall. If you love nature, the ocean, hiking, biking, kayaking and just relaxing in a beautiful setting this is a wonderful location. Tucked in Oswald West State Park, with fabulous view of the ocean, a short walk to an uncrowded beach, this home has a spacious and private feeling to it. It is very clean with a vaulted ceiling common room and well outfitted kitchen. We spotted wales right from the deck and we could even see the fins and tail of a young whale as he practiced diving over and over. There are always sand dollars on the beach. This spring we saw the illusive velella velella a diminutive saphire blue relative of the jelly fish with a diaphanous sail, that gets stranded in great numbers on the beach at times in the spring. There are always surprises."

"We celebrated my father's 85th birthday here. It was clean, large, & in a beautiful area away from the throngs of holiday makers. The layout left plenty of room for everyone. The sounds of the ocen. views, and quiet beach made everyone relaxed. If you desire a town with a lot of people, this may not be your cup of tea - but you can always drive there. If you enjoy the company of those around you and seek a breathtaking place to socialize and stroll on the beach, this is it. We were so glad to be there that we only left the property to walk in the area and fly kites on the beach. Thanks so much Sarah! We certainly plan to return."

"What an amazing place! The décor was amazing, the views, outstanding. We loved the solitude, the quiet, the sound of the ocean, the great access to the beach through the community trail. The kitchen was fully socked with everything we needed for cooking breakfast lunch and dinner. Had a great time, the house was such a huge part of our experience!"
