  • Magical view

"My husband and I LOVED our stay at this Falcon Cove beach house. The views never end. We picked wild blackberries in the woods at the front of the home, took beach walks at low tide, and enjoyed hiking in nearby state parks, but mostly we enjoyed the views. The owner is very helpful and friendly via phone and emails. The house itself is very clean and user friendly. It is better in person than in the photos. There are two queen Murphy beds downstairs, and one that we used was particularly comfortable. We also used the upstairs queen. The kitchen is well-equipped. The owner even had provided laundry detergent and coffee and many board games for use. Note that the beach access is limited during high tide. Also not that young children would need to be closely watched outside as the deck overhangs a cliff above the ocean. The house is a 10 minute drive from a small but well-stocked grocery store in Manzanita."

  • Beautiful Arch Cape

"The listing description and pictures are accurate, the kitchen is extremely well stocked although if you want a tea kettle bring your own, memory foam beds were very comfy. The property is situated close to the highway so on a busy day/evening don't expect to listen to just the roar of the sea. Arch Cape beach is beautiful, experienced some beautiful sunsets and great at low tide for exploring rock pools and the coastline, few people in September. Bears visited in the night and had the pleasure of clearing up previous guests garbage so be warned! The owner was very slow in answering questions and sending out information following the booking and apparently will take a month to refund the damage deposit so be prepared to be patient and there was no booking contract as such."

  • Cove Beach House Sets the Bar High

"We recently had the opportunity to stay at the beautiful Cove Beach house in celebration of my mother's birthday and father's day. This home sets the bar high for any future beach visits we'll take. There was plenty of space for our family of 6 to spread out and still be together. The views of the beach are lovely through the gorgeous windows! And the wildlife adventures... Wow! On the first day we found over 100 untouched sand dollars on the beach - very rare! 5 bald eagles, a flock of charming pelicans, wild bunnies, chipmunks and hummingbirds, oh, my... our dogs were in heaven! I fully recommend this house for family getaways to a quiet beach for fun and rejuvenation. We'll definitely be back!"

  • best night's sleep in a year

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a darling little cottage just a sweet little walk from the beach. Everything is spotless and the beds are super cozy and deluxe. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked, and extra points for a pretty high-caliber book selection, like kafka, dostoyevsky and the bronte sisters. Our kids adored the foosball table and having an upstairs just for kids makes it more fun for them. There is a darling backyard area and trees for kids to climb in (hope that was ok!) The pretty hydrangeas are turning colour this time of year and everywhere you look, the garden was lovely. The location is extremely convenient if you would like to take a beach walk in the morning to Hug Point or drive to cannon beach for coffee in about four minutes--we discovered The Sleepy Monk cafe which is so good, it's worth the drive from Spokane JUST for the lattes and scones. This is an enchanting place, and the owners clearly care about their little house as it is so lovingly tended, and we felt so very cozy, in rain and october sunshine. For me, I would maybe splurge the extra to get a placae right on the beach because I love to read on a deck that is looking out at the ocean. You can see the ocean through the windows, but it isn't the full view I yearn for, nor can you hear the ocean waves as you drift off to sleep. Those are things you pay extra for, however, and in my mind it would probably be worth it. Aside from that, Beach Pines is the best place we've stayed at the Coast so far. Thanks very much for the TLC."
