"We greatly enjoyed our recent stay at Seagull Landing. It was so nice to be close to the beach which was much more peaceful than Cannon Beach. Easy drive to anything else we wanted to get to with outstanding hiking trails so close at Ecola and Oswald West state parks. Hope to come back some day!!"

"My partner and I just finished our second weeklong stay here, and we could not be happier. We started our day with Barbara's wonderful breakfasts, and looked forward to the remainder of our day in and around this beautiful area. Walking on the beach, strolling nearby Cannon Beach and the newly revitalized Astoria, or simply lying next to the fire to watch the winter storms. The accommodation is a wonderfully rustic and cozy place. The kitchen is stocked with enough equipment to cover your culinary needs. The settee by the large window was our favorite perch. Barbara and Jim have a wonderful library (with an impressive collection of local history), a well stocked game cupboard, and wifi access.
Our many thanks to our gracious hosts for providing such a wonderful atmosphere. We have decided to make this our annual retreat!"

"We had a great stay with mixed weather. When we first arrived we had the pleasure of having a large pod of grey whales feeding and blowing spouts for about an hour right from the deck. Bring Binoculars with you!"
