  • Outstanding Experience!!!

"This house fit our needs perfectly. Off the beaten path but still easy access. We had 5 member men's fishermen group and the place was clean, well accomodated, the beds were all comfortable, the patio and barbeque were very nice, and we will be back next year. We have rented many different homes from Astoria to Seaside the last few years and this has been the best one. The television in the living room was a bit small for watching ball games, but since the fishing was great there wasn't too much time for that anyway. I was a bit aprehensive after reading the previous review two days prior to arrival as to what I was getting us into. However, the ONLY negative thing we encountered was someone had left a YANNI CD by the player and I took a lot of flak from my friends that it could have been mine!! It's a big leap from George Jones, Merle Haggard and Hank Williams Jr. to Yanni. We all agreed it might have been left by the previous review know, Cheese, WHINE, and Yanni The whole experience from communication, rental, and deposit refund could not have gone smoother. Thanks.....John K."

  • Totally Descriptive

"Cute, cosy, well run. We loved the view of the river. Good walkable location for downtown. We hiked to the column from the trailhead down the street and spent time at the Ft. George Brewpub. Also "beached", hiked, and rode our bikes at Ft. Stephens State Park. Yummy upscale meal at Bridgewater Bistro. Only downside is a small bathroom but we would definitely rent there again."

  • Great house, great location

"This was a great house for our 3-generation group of 12. Yes, Marine Drive is the main street through Astoria and, yes, the house is located near the onramp to the Astoria-Megler Bridge, but we barely heard the noise from this traffic. On the contrary, we considered the location to be ideal because we were so close to the River Walk and the trolley, which opens up most of Astoria. We had no Wi-Fi problems (and we used a lot of gadgets). The house was clean and comfortable and Kelly was great to work with."

  • Comfortable, Roomy and Quiet

"Our stay was for 10 days. It was perfect for the four of us and plenty of room for a couple of guests to be comfortable. We all loved the evenings around the fire place. I like that it’s close enough to everything but away from the traffic noise. We heard more noise from the sea birds and Sea Lions than automobile traffic! Sometime in the future I hope to return to your place and enjoy just relaxing and checking out Astoria a bit more. Anyway, thanks, terrific place!"
