  • Lovely home for two families or a smaill group!

"This home was nice and roomy. It has two bedrooms upstairs and two on the main level. The only complaint I have is the master bedroom mattress was way too firm for my back. So much so I had to swap bedrooms with my 6 year old daughter. The master bath has a shower and a big square jacuzzi tub. Lots of light on the upper level. The lower is definately darker. There is lots of cool art. The kitchen is very well appointed. I love that they don't remove all the extra cooking items in the fridge so you can use some soy sauce if you need. There is a nice deck off the kitchen for outdoor dining. The TV downstairs is a bit complicated to figure out and only has the very basic of stations so don't plan on catching the football game you were hoping to, etc. But you can bring your blue rays to enjoy. The lower rooms are nice too, with one more suited to adults and one with a bunk bed (full size on bottom). There is a sauna in that bathroom but we never used it. The beach is an easy 1 block stroll and the main drag of Laneda is also an easy 1 block stroll. On a personal note, I managed to forget I tucked my wedding rings in the nightstand to keep the kids from losing them. On our final morning my 3 year old locked us out of the bedroom so in the confusion I totally forgot all about them. In fact it took me 3 or 4 days to remember what I had done with them. I immediately emailed the rental people. They responded very quickly. They sent the cleaning service back to look and the rings were still sitting in the drawer! I was notified they were safe and sound and would be taken care of until I could arrange for them to be brought back to me. I was so impressed with how this situation was handled I just wanted to share it."

  • Great location and views!

"My extended family stayed a weekend at this wonderful home and fully enjoyed ourselves. Ages ranged from 1 to 60 and it suited all of us, even our dog! Location is super, beach access close, and the deck was excellent to let my small child play and my dog watch all the goings on. We will definitely be back and have recommended the property to our friends. Our only recommendation would be an update for all the seating in the living and dining room. The pieces are all clean and neat but very well used, so they all sag a great deal, making them not terribly comfortable."

  • Amazing!

"We have done vacation rentals in Manzanita many times, but this one was by far the best! Only a short 1/2 block to the beach. Reasonable walk to the center of town, even with our small children. Lots of room. And they don't skimp on the creature comforts--blankets, pillows, detergent, etc. We comfortably slept 10 and will be back again soon. Thanks!"

  • Lovely get-away

"We had a great time vacationing in this little gem of a home. It is well-equipped with everything you'll need for a very comfortable stay. It is bright and welcoming and extraordinarily clean! The panoramic vistas are stunning. One suggestion is to bring your own pillows, as the ones on the beds are very flat. As another reviewer pointed out, the towels don't absorb at all, probably due to a "green" detergent used for the home. But there is a washer/dryer and we just rewashed them to our liking. Be sure to visit the Tillamook cheese and beef jerky outlet stores. There is a huge Fred Meyer nearby for all your grocery needs. We enjoyed cooking in and relaxing in the home, but there are some restaurants around the area if you want to eat out. Try Pacific Oyster Company for fresh seafood. Downies Cafe is a great little breakfast place, with humble furnishings but well-prepared, home-cooked food. This home is in an ideal location being so close to all the gorgeous sights such as Cannon Beach area. We highly recommend this property and would definitely go back again."
