  • Great views ~ easy and private beach access. What a relaxing way to spend a 25th anniversary!

"I rented the Arnold beach house for my wife and I on our 25th wedding anniversary. The views from the deck are absolutely amazing. We sat on the porch twice at sipped on an adult cocktail watching breathtaking sunsets. When we ventured out to the beach which is only a short walk and due to its location there were very few other people on the beach. Rockaway Beach is a great little town and with so few people it was fun to visit the local tavern and have a beer. We were able to drive to Tillamook and Cape Meares lighthouse (totally recommend making the short trip). The home is completely furnished, nothing fancy, but containing everything you need for a relaxing week. The only issue we had was the bed and couch were a little soft for our backs. If you want a great view of the ocean, a great place to get away, then rent this house."

  • Charming and Comfortable Beach Home

"We loved the Sleeping Inn and would definitely stay here again! We've rented other homes in Seaside over the years and this one is now our favorite! It was nice having a newer home with all the amenities you would expect as well as that classic beach house charm you get with an older home. It was clean and well-maintained and very close to all the things we love to do in Seaside. Our only complaint would be the lack of a decent frying pan. The one that is there is small and the teflon coating is flaking off so was not safe to use. So you may want to bring your own if you stay here! We also had to contact the manager about the WIFi since it was not working and ended up going into town to the Safeway Starbucks a few times to check important work emails. There is now a second garbage bin out back for garbage, but be sure you take it out to the curb on garbage day because despite what we were told, the garbage man DOES NOT go back to get it for you! Overall though we would rate this house as an excellent choice for a wonderful and relaxing stay! We always enjoy the beach, but there is so much to do in the area so don't limit yourself to just Seaside. We love Doogers for excellent seafood and always go for lunch since the prices are less expensive. We also drive down to Cannon Beach to visit beautiful Ecola State Park, do some shopping, and eat at Mo's, which has a more relaxed family friendly atmosphere and is right on the beach. We also do Pig and Pancake for breakfast one morning and frequent DQ almost every night! If you love to hike be sure to do the Tillamook Head trail and have a wonderful view of Tillamook Lighthouse at the top! Also definitely venture north of Seaside to Fort Clatsop where the story of Lewis and Clark and their travels come to life, and while there go visit the Astoria Column which has a magnificent view of Oregon and Washington!"

  • Seagrass Treasure!

"I will start by saying THNK YOU for being that vacation rental that allowed a two night stay over a holiday weekend. Not everyone can get away for the full 3 nights and we felt very blessed when the owner emailed back saying two nights was fine. You price is affordable for what you get, the house has everything we could have ever needed. Short walk to the beach was pleasant, I would recommend that if the weather is nice you do walk as you will not find parking in town. We made the climb up the dune for sunset of which I would very much recommend. When we return to Pacific City (and we will!) we will definitely check to see if the Seagrass is available. Book it! You will not be disappointed."

  • Magical Time

"Our group of 13 people stayed over Memorial Day weekend 2012 and it was an AMAZING time! We opened the door to the house and fell in love immediately! This was a great place for families- we had 7 kids with us and it was so enjoyable to be able to watch the kids play in the sand just steps away from our house. The location was great because it was centrally located to go to many of the fun placed including Tillamook and Lincoln City. We will definitely be returning to this home for many additional vacations! Thanks for a wonderful and memorable experience. It was Magical!!!!"
