  • Cape Meares

"Great family fun on a nice quiet beach. Close to Tillamook for if you need to run into town. Hiking and sightseeing very close. We were able to walk down to the beach, hunt for agates and had a great beach fire to close out the weekend. The accommodations were perfect. Clean and comfortable, with everything you need already at the house, including beach towels for everyone, including the dog. Without a double we will stay here again."

  • Cape Meares is a treasure

"Peptide Cottage offers a comfortable, affordable nest while you explore the coast. We watched our son kayak on Lake Cape Meares as we sat on the porch deck. When the tide was low early one morning, we walked over to the Pacific and were astounded by the tide pools. Sunsets were spectacular and the beaches were never crowded. Cape Meares State Park looks like the forest primeval and smells so fresh. Fish and Wildlife volunteers taught us all about the birds nesting as we looked through their telescopes. And, Tillamook Dairy sells delicious ice cream cones."

  • Great Get-Away

"This is a very comfortable house with good beds and bedding. The hot tub is small but the temperature was great and the view of the ocean from it was fabulous. The kitchen is small but well stocked with cooking gear. There's not much storage, other than the refrigerator, for food but everything was very clean and worked. We enjoyed the fire-pit and the complementary smores makings."
