  • My favorite place on the coast

"This is my second time at Anemone House. The home is so well equipped and a beautiful location. Sue is so easy to work with. As Arnold Schwartznegger said "I'll be back!""

  • Lovely get-away

"We had a great time vacationing in this little gem of a home. It is well-equipped with everything you'll need for a very comfortable stay. It is bright and welcoming and extraordinarily clean! The panoramic vistas are stunning. One suggestion is to bring your own pillows, as the ones on the beds are very flat. As another reviewer pointed out, the towels don't absorb at all, probably due to a "green" detergent used for the home. But there is a washer/dryer and we just rewashed them to our liking. Be sure to visit the Tillamook cheese and beef jerky outlet stores. There is a huge Fred Meyer nearby for all your grocery needs. We enjoyed cooking in and relaxing in the home, but there are some restaurants around the area if you want to eat out. Try Pacific Oyster Company for fresh seafood. Downies Cafe is a great little breakfast place, with humble furnishings but well-prepared, home-cooked food. This home is in an ideal location being so close to all the gorgeous sights such as Cannon Beach area. We highly recommend this property and would definitely go back again."

  • Clean, lovely and so close to the beach!

"We stayed here for two nights over a spring break vacation and despite it being a holiday, the beach was never crowded! The house was lovely, with tons to keep you entertained when not roaming the beach or checking out the town of Manzanita. The entire house was spotless yet cozy, with lovely tiled bathrooms and a great fireplace. The Netflix already set up on the TV provided us with an ample movie selection and entertainment. The house was roomy the porches were terrific for eating outside in the sun (I know, what a treat for the Oregon Coast!). The house was fully equipped with cooking utensils and had a washer and dryer which made washing all of our sandy towels and clothes before heading home very easy! The only strange thing about this rental was the total lack of blinds/curtains, even in the bedrooms, which was a little odd considering the master bedroom has big sliding glass door facing the street but overall the house was terrific! I will definitely be booking here again when I return to Manzanita!"

  • GroundControl

"We rented this property for a couple of days after Memorial Day. It is obviously loved and well kept up. Very comfortable beds, open plan on the main floor allows cooks and all others to commingle. French doors to the deck and "crow's nest" were a lovely way to bring the outdoors inside. If we come back (and we definitely would like to!), we would bring our own linens. Washing, drying and putting away everything on our last day at the beach wasn't exactly how I wanted to spend my vacation. But it's a great property in a great location with pleasant, responsive owners. And Manzanita is such a fun town!"
