"We enjoyed our stay at your beautifully decorated home. The home is a short walk to a nice beach and short drive to town. We love the two master suites that close off completely and will take advantage of this with friends on a future visit. We also appreciated details such as the multi pure water filter and stainless steel pots as well as a nice patio and yard. We look forward to returning. Manzanita is a lovely little village with its very own health food store so we were in heaven!"

"Our family enjoyed a lovely 3 nights at Whalen House, and though the early spring weather was hit and miss, we didn't care. A lovely, rambling place with enough room for my two daughters, four grandsons, and my husband and I. Though the stunning view through the expansive windows in the living area is the draw, I also particularly loved the dining area off the kitchen, next to the rustic little gas fireplace under low ceilings. Much like I might dream the inside of an Irish pub might look. My husband and I were treated royally by getting to use the attached, yet separate apartment with our own bathroom. We all watched movies, sang songs, and went 'shell'fishing. Thank you so much for a very memorable time."

"We came for a long weekend, our first time to Cannon Beach. The location of this property is awesome, a block to the beach, and a short walk to downtown and mid-town (Sleepy Monk coffee). The sleeping accommodations worked out fine for the 5 of us and the home was well equipped. We saw other bigger, more spacious places, more bedrooms -- but they were far south and back off the beach. I'll trade location and walkability any day. We will certainly have no questions about returning to The Singing Sands."
