"4th year here and it just gets better and better!! We always have a wonderful time, love your home, very, very comfortable and everything we could dream of needing is there. Used the bikes for rides to the ice cream parlor, the bakery and around town. The quiet street was prefect for my son to learn to ride his bike without training wheels. Some of my husbands family stayed in a house a few streets down and they came over for dinner once. There were 11 of us around the table and there was plenty of room for all. We saw deer out back - as we do each year! Still love that deck, the chairs are so comfortable, tempting to just stay there the entire day!!! We are already counting down until next summer!"Guest: Zach's Mommy Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 22, 2014View listing
"We had such a wondeful family holiday at this little cottage. It's cosy but well laid out and comfortable. Beds were very comfy, kitchen well stocked, nice towels, convenience of washer/dryer and dishwasher. Backs right on to golf course with private fire pit where we roasted marshmellows at night. 10 min walk to the beach and great location in the little village. So happy we picked this over Seaside (which has a slightly tacky tourist vibe) as Gearhart has charming seaside village feel. Can't say enough good stuff about our stay! Can't wait to come back. Thank you!!"Guest: JennyB Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 24, 2014View listing
"It was our 2nd stay. We were excited to see the elk herd this time! It's a great house with a nice walk to a great beach!! . . . but I think it might be time to replace the futon, otherwise it was a wonderful time and we will definitely plan on a 3rd stay!"Guest: Cindy & Thomas Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 26, 2014View listing
"We had a wonderful girls weekend at The Blue Door. Simply walking in the door was calming and we were all in desperate need of some calm and relaxation. The entire house was...what is the best term? Welcoming. The house was welcoming. There was a storm the first night we were there but none of us paid any attention as we were warm and cozy curled up on overstuffed chairs and couches. We had everything we needed and the location is perfect: right by Pacific Way Bakery and just down the street from the beach. I would highly recommend staying here!"Guest: Elice Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 22, 2014View listing
