Perfect place to stay
"We drove 2500 miles to Oregon in order to stay on the Pacific coast. Upon entering the property we discovered that this is the perfect place to stay. It is beautifully decorated, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything anyone needs to prepare meals, and this even includes spices. We cooked clams and crabs right in the kitchen, and enjoyed our meals on the deck. The deck was one of our favorite places of the house. We relaxed outside each evening after walks on the beach, watching the sun go down and listening to the waves while we were enjoying drinks. The house is very close to town, and we walked there to explore the little shops. This house feels like home and not just a rental property. One week was definitely not long enough to stay there, especially if someone is coming from far away states."

"My family and I rented the house for a family vacation. The view of the ocean is great! There's a big deck out front (which says max 10 people) where you can really enjoy the beach views. The kitchen is spacious and making meals is no problem.
Only drawback to the home was the quality of the property. The carpet is covered in stains, the walls have marks all over them and the furniture is cozy but past it's prime. For the nightly rate I expected a better maintained home - but then considered the location and view and decided it might still be a fair price.
Overall the home felt like a party home - one for a bachelor and bachelorette party - but we did have 8 people with us and the space the home provided was adequate. We'd probably stay here again - now with our expectations of the property adjusted."

"My family stayed here over Memorial weekend and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Our teen boys shared the comfortable 2 twins room, grandma had the downstairs queen bedroom and we had the master suite upstairs. The location is fantastic, set back from the beach enough to get a break from the wind but still a great view. In the opposite direction a few yards away is the golf course. Town and the city park are a longer walk or quick bike trip away. The house is very comfortable with all the amenities you need. We really enjoyed their classic CD collection while playing Monopoly at the dining table!"

"Two families had an AMAZING time at this beautiful Manzanita beach house! With 5 adults and 4 kids, there was plenty of room to spread out on the different levels of the home. The kids took over the bottom floor, complete with bunk beds and game room, while the adults had the lovely upper floors to chat late into the evening. It's really a wonderful layout for families. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, and we all have lots of happy memories of dinners at the large table, and s'mores out back by the fire pit. And now to the outside...you have wonderful views all around from the various decks. From the deck, we saw an entire family of deer just strolling down the street, and the gorgeous stars each night. And the beach? Whoa. Steps away, and never, ever crowded like some of the area beaches. We spent most days playing in the sand, and then every evening, we would walk back up the dune to see the absolutely amazing sunset. We explored Nahalem Bay State Park, which is an easy walk from the house. The scenery is amazing. If you're into geocaching, get ready, because there are several caches in the park! We found three, and there were many more to find! There are also stables in the park where you can go for a horseback ride along the beach -- it was lovely! It's an easy drive (or slightly longer walk) into town for shopping or eating out. There are also a few different options for groceries. If you're looking for a relaxing, memorable holiday, you can't go wrong with this wonderful home. We are already planning our next visit! Thanks so much for opening your beautiful home to us!"
