  • Manzanita get away

"We liked the house. The layout was a bit strange but we made it work. I wish that it had been closer to the beach but you couldn't beat the view. We had the windows open all the time for the sea breeze. I liked the size and it worked out great for the size of family we had there. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans. Need to write on the dishwasher soap bucket what it is!"

  • Great fun for the kids!

"We spent 3 nights in this house and it was perfect for us. Short walk to the beach and golf course, but we drove into town for shopping and food because of a) weather and b) the walk would have been too far for our three little ones. Speaking of the kids, they had an absolute blast. The house was stocked with toys and games, with a loft area complete with it's own TV that our three kids hung out in whenever we weren't out exploring. There is even a small play structure in the backyard, with swings and a slide. The kids' bedroom was perfect, as well, with two twin beds (one of which seemed like it had a very nice mattress on it) and a twin futon. The master bedroom/bath was perfect, with a comfortable bed and bathroom facilities, and enough space in the walk-in closet for the provided crib and/or toddler bed. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed, including a blender, an assortment of cookware and some basic pantry ingredients (although some were long-expired). The owner was very easy to work with and accommodating, as well, promptly answering all of our questions and requests, and returned our deposit within a few days of checking out."

  • Great place for a family get-together

"Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This year we chose the Tuscany for our annual Cousins Camp (for our grandkids, godchildren, and their cousins). Eight kids 5-15 and five adults: the boys liked the master bedroom on the 2nd floor, the girls liked the bunk room on the 1st. As the weather was unseasonably cold and damp for August, the kids spent a lot of time in the pool (billiard) room, the hot tub, and playing board games & puzzles in the living/dining area. While generally happy with the house, we did encounter several small maintenance issues. Several light bulbs were burned out; half the pool cues had no tips; the front door has lots of play in it when closed, due to a missing weatherseal; and the night we went to use the Weber BBQ there was no propane--we tried to use the electric griddle in the kitchen and the power cord was from an incompatible brand. It is a block from the sand dunes and beach, but a mile from Manzanita's main street Laneda. We liked it enough to try to get it again next year, hopefully with better weather."

  • Super House, great location!

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about this house! We had 9 adults and a 2yr old and everyone was very comfortable. All rooms are spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. The house has everything you need. AND beach, shops, restaurants are all within walking distance! We hope to be able to return someday;)"
