Clean and Simple
"We loved Manzanita and the location of this house is fantastic. Walk every where and super quiet street. The house was clean and simple - not fancy but has what you need. The two rooms in the main house each have a sky light which made it difficult to sleep in or have our daughter take a nap. Additionally - the window blinds are thin and do not block light so no chance of sleeping in!"

"This house was fabulous! It was quiet, clean, comfortable and had plenty of room. The locations was perfect! It was a 5 minute drive to the state park and a 5 minute drive to Manzanita. Loved it! Would definitely recommend it!"

"Even after many years of family vacations at this property, we manage to find new adventures each visit. This year it was a spectacular hike to Cape Falcon. The house always immaculate and welcoming. All amenities are at your finger tips. Comfy furniture. Private sleeping suites. Firewood provided for fires on the patio or on the beach. The daylight bedroom on the lower level accessible without stairs. Outside shower keeps the house reasonably sand free! Hiking, biking, golfing, surfing, and great eats nearby. Walk the beach into town for burgers at the Sand Dune Pub or cocktails and local fare at Blackbirds, cinnamon rolls at Bread and Ocean. lattes at Manzanita Coffee, or Hot Dogs at Mudd Dogs. All in all - the house and Manzanita a PERFECT place to relax and have fun."

"We drove 2500 miles to Oregon in order to stay on the Pacific coast. Upon entering the property we discovered that this is the perfect place to stay. It is beautifully decorated, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything anyone needs to prepare meals, and this even includes spices. We cooked clams and crabs right in the kitchen, and enjoyed our meals on the deck. The deck was one of our favorite places of the house. We relaxed outside each evening after walks on the beach, watching the sun go down and listening to the waves while we were enjoying drinks. The house is very close to town, and we walked there to explore the little shops. This house feels like home and not just a rental property. One week was definitely not long enough to stay there, especially if someone is coming from far away states."
