"Some friends and I stayed at this lovely home in mid November. Not only were we surprised by the beautiful weather but we were surprised at how clean and well equipped the house was. Not only was it perfect for us with nice bedding, cozy wood stove, Bluray player and every, pot, pan, and kitchen gadget we could need but it was agreed it would be perfect when we bring our families back to Manzanita. A nice downstairs bedroom for the teenagers, high chair, booster seat, portacrib and toddler bed for the little ones. And of course there activities for every age in Manzanita. We will be back. I loved this house!"

"Great location with a awesome view of the ocean! Main living area very large and the kitchen was great! However I wouldn't say it's 5 bedrooms. The 5th bedroom is very small and not suited for a couple. It's better suited for a kids room but only capable of fitting 2 kids comfortably. House is wonderful for 4 couples and it has lots of private space for everyone to enjoy some quite time. The deck is the best part of the house! The house has lots of stairs and not suited for those with mobility issues. The beach access is a trek and again not suited for those with small children or those with mobility issues. Easy on the way down and a killer calf workout on the way up! I would absolutely stay at this house again and would be a wonderful house for storm watching and a great place when the sun is shining! We found sand dollars on the beach early in the morning and the house is situated well if you'd like to take a long walk into town. Not many eateries in Manzanita to choose from but the ones we did try were very good! Shopping the quaint stores was a lot of fun and found lots of wonderful gifts while shopping."

"Spent 2 nights at the Old School House for a small group retreat. Enough beds for everyone, impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and updated "home." The grounds were well cared for as well -- with lots of space outdoors to enjoy the weather and the natural setting. A short walk to get to town and the beach, but those who don't want to walk can jump in a car and be there in a matter of minutes. The grounds keeper stopped by to make sure we didn't have any questions and he was friendly and answered questions about restaurants, local hiking trails, and other local information. Overall, a great stay! We would love to return for another retreat!"

The property manager was very helpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
This has to be one of the best locations on the Oregon Coast. A beautiful house with the most amazing views of the ocean and beach. We have stayed at this house before, and will stay again!"
