"We had a wonderful time at the beach house for my husband's birthday. 3 generations of our family in 2 huge living areas, a short walk to the beach and downtown, nice fires in the evenings (on the beach). It was a beautifully relaxing place to spend 4 days. The view from the front room is stunning.
The only downside was we were expected to do quite a bit of cleaning before vacating. We have rented many VBRO homes (in several States) in the past, so we expected to start laundry and take out our trash, however the rental company required all the floors to be vacuumed and swept and sinks cleaned, which made me wonder what the cleaning fee covers. It was difficult to get everyone moved out and complete all the tasks before checkout time. We would definitely recommend this rental to others, however."

"Once again our family experienced a wonderful vacation! We rented all three homes in the compound and hosted four families in ages from 7 to 67. The homes were comfortable, clean and well equipped. The management team was proactive and responsive. The location is perfect - allowing adults to relax, kids to play. Access to beaches, fishing, crabbing and clamming. Easy drive to shopping, restaurants, museums, light houses. This is the perfect location for us and we will be back!"

"As the name Eagle's Nest suggests, this small structure is perched on the side of a hill that rises up from Neahakahnie Beach. There are distant views of the coastline and sea through the heavily forested surroundings. The building offers privacy and quiet. The workmanship of the interior is of a high quality resulting in a pleasant aesthetic experience. One criticism is that the bedroom with full bath on the first floor has virtually no ventilation, so if you are sharing the space with others and prefer to have the door closed while sleeping, by morning it is quite stuffy. There is a window with shoji screens but it does not open. There is a second door leading to the outside under the garage above, but there is no screen so not practical to leave it open at night."

"We were a little concerned about renting a house with so few reviews, but we were very pleased with our choice. A family of 7 comfortably stayed here for 3 nights. We loved the easy beach access and quiet location. The house is nicer than the photos show. The view from upstairs living room and deck is great. The kitchen is very well stocked, as is the house in general. We would love to stay here again!"
