  • More than Expected

"It is always a risk to book a home for a vacation, and we have had experiences that have disappointed, but not this house. We were completely surprised by the size, especially all the bedrooms, the upstairs family room and games room. There were seven of us and we all had ample space to be together or have alone and quiet time. It was very clean and had everything anyone would need, except the food. We even had roasting sticks for bonfires on the beach. The beds were all very comfortable. We loved the little entrance to the cul de sac , almost a hidden treasure. We walked to the beach once, but it is a little far to go with young children in tow. It was a great location for a base as we traveled north to Astoria and as far south as Tillamook. The owner was very approachable and responded quickly to emails. This was among one of the best homes we have stayed in and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone."

"Great Auntie, Nephew and wife with two toddlers loved this warm home. The peaceful property is situated near the confluence of the Necanicum River and Pacific Ocean just N of the Seaside Promenade. Great Blue Herons grace the river and an occasional kite skier can be seen near the ocean. Great sunsets, fires and s'mores, hot tubbing and plethora of books make this a great place to spend time. Razor clams abound at the seaside and we got our limits every day! Can't wait to get back and make time for a canoe ride! Great hosts too. Thanks!"

  • Beautiful view, quiet beach

"We chose to stay here on the day of our trip — with only hours notice, the manager was accessible, responsive, helpful and friendly (thank you!)! This is a beautiful condo with a lovely beach view/beach front (there is a small access road, not a thru street, between the condo and the edge/ridge of the sand so you're right there). There is a fire pit in the sand directly across from the condo, too. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and coffee at the Rockaway Grille (on the main highway across the street from the condo and a block closer to town) spent the afternoon walking on the beach (about 3.5 miles to the jetty from the condo), then enjoyed the second floor two-person hot tub while watching the sun set. Quieter area then Cannon Beach for sure! Close to Tillamook (for cheese factory visitors!) and great coast hikes. It was just two of us but the three-story place would easily host many with the three second-floor bedrooms and the bottom floor open bedroom (you walk through it from the garage into the house). We very much enjoyed it and hope to come back!"

  • Great house close to beach

"We enjoyed this comfortable house. It was about a block from the beach, and an easy 10 minute walk to town. The house had everything we needed, and the deck has a view of the ocean."
