"Moonsail was a spacious, beautiful and well equipped home base for our annual family vacation for 11 of us, ranging in age from 6 to 68. We did a lot of food preparation, and appreciated the up to date well stocked kitchen. The game room with pool table and video games was a great diversion for the youngsters (and the poker set for the not so young) when we took a break from clam digging, crabbing, and s'mores on the beach. It was unfortunate that we were locked out of the extra linen closet and had to improvise linens for the spare mattresses, but the generous supply of towels offset that inconvenience. It is also time for Moonsail to obtain a new grill. AM coffee on the extensive balcony was delightful. A lovely stay in terrific location!"

"Great vacation house, well stocked kitchen for a thanksgiving feast. Beautiful property lots of great walking, hiking trails nearby, crabbing in the bay as well. Great oyster place just a little ways down the road to buy fresh oysters. There were 8 adults that stayed here and we had plenty of room to eat and play games downstairs, however if it's raining sideways like it was for 3 days, the only place to watch football or a movie was up in the loft and there is only one couch, no chairs and no food or beverage allowed up there. It was not easy for 8 adults to watch tv, I would suggest the owner get a couple of sofas as there was plenty of room for them. Also would have been nice to have a coffee table in the downstairs living room. If the weather had been nicer I guess we wouldn't have needed those amenities but hey it's the Oregon coast, it rains..."

"Enjoyed our stay at this house. Location is good, with easy beach access. Great room is nice and has a good view. Porch was good, though not as sheltered as the descriptions suggested, at least when we were there. House layout is kinda funky but works. The house really does get tons of light, which is great, except when you want to go to bed early or sleep late. Both were tough in the bedroom with the skylight, and would be same on the pullout couch. Bring eyeshades! And keep it in mind if you have little kids who can't use eyeshades and are prone to rising early (we did) - only one room can be darkened effectively. Other than that, it's a great place to stay. Lots of helpful notes from the owners, who are lovely and very helpful people from our interactions with them. And little things like a basket with spare toiletries, backpacks packed in case of true emergency, and kid sand toys were nice touches."
