  • Great value for your money

"This home is small but at a fantastic location. It was clean and had everything to make yourself comfortable. Things were a bit dated but in great condition. We cooked almost every meal and loved drinking wine and watching the sunset from the large bay window. Great views, warm and easy access to the beach. Will definitely stay again."

  • VRBO #399575 Review

"Shat a delightful beach house this is! A TRUE GEM! Driving up to it we thought it looked so cute; saw the two decks and fenced-in backyard--perfect for our dog! We entered from the back into a mud room for our doggy things and shoes and jackets. Then we went into the kitchen and great room! So open, spacious, and light/bright! Every room was well stocked in every way! Even tooth picks in the kitchen. They have furnished the great family room with very comfortable casual slip covered couches, wicker furniture and a love seat. A big flat screen TV w/a cabinet fully stocked w/movies, cards, games, and books. The two bedrooms, love seat that opens into a double futon bed and two bathrooms make it very spacious for six people. The owners even have a notebook of activities inside and outside, places to shop, eat, and sight see, and instructions for leaving. Samantha and Steve are thorough in every way. There is a pool table, hula hoops, a kite and a kayak and a hammock. The walls are tastefully decorated. I could tell Samantha and Steve truly love the beach, ocean, and all it has to offer. It is located overlooking the ocean and only two short blocks to the beach. the beach is pet friendly and secluded and quiet. The description and photos were accurate. The property was very clean and very well-maintained. Samantha was extremely kind and helpful in answering all our questions and/or concerns. We already have recommended this beach house to folks and family! The Schooner, the Deli down the road, Lexi's, the beach, the beach!!! Kayacking for those who enjoy it, Oceanside, Roseanna's and Brewin' in the Wind, Cape Look Out, the light house, and Floyd's sea food shop, reading in the hammock, sitting on the decks, and tons of relaxing!!"

  • Beach Getaway Home

"This beach house has so many nice features, that I can't list them all. My wife and I stayed for a week with our 13 yr. old son and 17 yr. old daughter. We enjoyed the ocean view from the 3rd floor living area which has a deck. But a 2 minute walk down the street brought us right to the beach. And what a gorgeous beach it is! At low tide we walked to our friends' house in Oceanside, and ate some delicious meals at Roseanna's Cafe. One day we drove less than 8 miles to Tillamook, where we did food shopping at Safeway and toured the Tillamook factory. Then we drove a few miles more to Girabaldi, where we bought fresh fish right off the boat at Girabaldi Fish Market. Back at the house, we cooked a gourmet meal on the kitchen's oversized commercial gas range. Everything we needed was there, including the wine glasses, a large steamer pot, and stylish place mats. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. This was very appealing to us, since we have a teen daughter. Our son slept on the sofa in the living area, preferring that to pulling out the sofa bed, and used the 1/2 bath. Everyone was happy. We were grateful for the Wifi & for the fact that Verizon cell phone service worked from the top floor (but not lower floor where the bedrooms are). Unfortunately, our friends, who use AT&T, were unable to get cell phone service at this house. But from what I understand, cell phone service as well as internet service is unpredictable on this part of the coast. There is a land line though. We will stay at this rental again, and highly recommend it. It's worth every penny!"
