Netarts is located on Oregon’s beautiful coastline, just south of the town of Tillamook. You can get there by driving along the Pacific Coast Highway. Some people stop along the coast as part of a road trip from Seattle down to San Francisco. The nearest major airport is in Oregon’s capital city Portland. Portland International Airport hosts regularly scheduled flights from most major North American cities. You should easily be able to find a direct flights it you are traveling from anywhere in the western region of the United States. From there, you will be able to get a connecting flight on to Portland. If flying in, you will need to rent a car to drive the remaining distance to Netarts. This small seaside community is approximately 75 miles from Portland International Airport and the drive should take around 90 minutes. From Portland, you follow the main highway to the coast and then turn north on the highway to make your way up to Netarts.

Netarts is also an area known for its good surfing conditions. The nearby town of Tillamook has a very interesting World War II Aviation Museum. Here, you can view more than 30 original World War II aircraft, ranging from fighter planes to cargo aircraft. The entire museum is housed in a World War II Blimp hangar which is reputed to be the largest wooden structure in the world.
