  • Great Stay

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin in Netarts. This well-loved, rustic cabin has a lot of charm and made for a very pleasant stay! We found the owners very accommodating. Netarts is a quiet community and there is great access to beach activities and Netarts Bay. The kitchen is well stocked, there are lots of board games available and the people at the Terimore Hotel were happy to loan DVDs. The owners recommendations about activities in the area were spot on and very helpful. This is a fun and affordable cabin with lots of bunk beds making it perfect for families with small children. We very much enjoyed our stay here and we highly recommend this cabin. Thanks for making this a very pleasant experience."

  • Fantastic View

"This property has great views of the bay, ocean, rocks off Oceanside. The photos don't even do the views justice. It is a little small; great for my wife, our dog and me. I would think 4 adults is a comfortable number. The trail to the beach was easily managed by us, could be a little difficult for older folks with any trouble walking. In addition, both sets of stairs, to the loft and the spiral staircase, are steep and narrow. I scraped my leg on the edge of the stairs, so negotiate them carefully. Our dog wouldn't go down the spiral stairs at first, but eventually got used to them. We enjoyed walking the beach. It is a short walk to the ocean shore; about five miles round trip to Oceanside along the beach. A couple favorite stops for us are the bakery in Garibaldi, and the Garibaldi Cannery for seafood to cook. We discovered The Sand Dollar in Rockaway (opened in March) had great food, and we had a good meal at Roseanna's. Floyd's seafood shop right in Netarts also had good fresh seafood to take home (open Thurs-Sunday). We felt the property could have been cleaned a little better when we arrived, but overall a very nice property"

  • Beach Getaway Home

"This beach house has so many nice features, that I can't list them all. My wife and I stayed for a week with our 13 yr. old son and 17 yr. old daughter. We enjoyed the ocean view from the 3rd floor living area which has a deck. But a 2 minute walk down the street brought us right to the beach. And what a gorgeous beach it is! At low tide we walked to our friends' house in Oceanside, and ate some delicious meals at Roseanna's Cafe. One day we drove less than 8 miles to Tillamook, where we did food shopping at Safeway and toured the Tillamook factory. Then we drove a few miles more to Girabaldi, where we bought fresh fish right off the boat at Girabaldi Fish Market. Back at the house, we cooked a gourmet meal on the kitchen's oversized commercial gas range. Everything we needed was there, including the wine glasses, a large steamer pot, and stylish place mats. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. This was very appealing to us, since we have a teen daughter. Our son slept on the sofa in the living area, preferring that to pulling out the sofa bed, and used the 1/2 bath. Everyone was happy. We were grateful for the Wifi & for the fact that Verizon cell phone service worked from the top floor (but not lower floor where the bedrooms are). Unfortunately, our friends, who use AT&T, were unable to get cell phone service at this house. But from what I understand, cell phone service as well as internet service is unpredictable on this part of the coast. There is a land line though. We will stay at this rental again, and highly recommend it. It's worth every penny!"

  • Perfect place, perfect weather

"This was an exploratory trip to check out Netarts for an annual "Girls Getaway" and kayaking. The house was great, access to the water was just steps away. Hauling the kayaks was a bit cumbersome, but manageable. It was a very relaxing time. Only suggestion I could make would be to have some living area floor lamps. Right now it's hard to sit on the couch in the evenings and read a book!! A delightful time, we'll be back if we decide that Netarts is the place for the next "Girls Getaway"."
