  • Nicest VRBO you will ever find

"The pictures do not do this place justice. It is gorgeous. The house is very large with an enormous great room and open kitchen. The bedrooms and baths are all spacious with high end fixtures, beds, bedding, and so forth. Everything is spotlessly clean and appears virtually brand new. It is basically a very high-end beach house in a very high-end neighborhood. I can't think of a single thing the fussiest traveler could find to criticize. We had 8 staying here and we were knocking around with endless amounts of space. That said, a couple of very minor points. While you have ocean views this is not an oceanfront property. One can theoretically walk down the lane and then down the main road to a beach access point but that would be at least a 20 minute walk so this isn't the place if you have kids and want to pop in and out the door to the beach all day long. If you have a 4x4 you can drive it right onto the beach in Pacific City which is 2 miles away. Must be one of the only towns in Oregon that allows driving on the beach as I haven't seen it anywhere else. Don't try it without a 4x4 as I saw a minivan get stuck after only going 10 ft. I also didn't see a coffee grinder. If there is one I didn't find it. The kitchen is huge and unusually well equipped for a rental. If the owners are reading this a $15 coffee grinder sitting by the coffee maker would be a nice addition. Otherwise bring your coffee pre ground. There is a big gas cooktop on the center island but the gas pressure from the propane tank outside the house is pretty weak so you can't really fire up a big hot flame like you might be used to in the city. About the most you will get is a medium heat so don't bring ingredients for a huge stir fry or something and expect to get great heat. Over the years my wife and I have probably done 30 or more rentals from VRBO and AirBnB and this was easily the nicest and most luxurious place we have ever rented."

  • Family Beach Weekend

"We have always loved Pacific City but staying here made it over the top! Loved the house and location. We happened to be there on Dory Day to experience the parade which our 2 granddaughters loved. The weather was beautiful and we found more of a secluded area of the beach with little streams that they could play in and where we didn't have to deal with the multitude of crowds. Fires on the beach were amazing. We loved climbing the sand dunes and our dinner on the patio of the Pelican was awesome on Sunday night. Not as crowded on Sunday and our granddaughters could play in the sand while we sat there with family and cocktails waiting for our dinner. The Innisfree home was so comfortable and perfect for everyone. It was very well equipped from the kitchen to the kayaks and bikes. The home has a lot of character and we loved the electric fireplace for cozy mornings and late evenings. The big sun room which brought in a ton of sunlight was awesome for playing games. The home is only a couple of blocks from the beach and our granddaughters could ride their bikes around the cul-de-sac . Always a lot of work when you bring the family to the beach but well worth the fun and memories we made there this past weekend. We definitely will be staying here in the future."

  • Great place for exploring Pacific City and beyond

"Very nice, clean well appointed and well decorated place. Quiet area but very convenient to amenities and the sights of Pacific City. Pet friendly. There are lots of stairs though, so if you don't like stairs you won't like this place."

Pacific City Travel Tips

Pacific City Rentals for an Ideal Escape for Nature-lovers

Pacific City is a popular destination along the Northern Oregon Coast for marine- and animal-lovers, making it ideal for every kind of vacation, from a group or family vacation to a quiet honeymoon for two. Staying in Pacific City rentals provides plenty of opportunity for whale-watching, exploring the local marine life, and even watching for local birds not easily seen elsewhere.

See the Rare Birds from Pacific City Rentals

Your Pacific City lodging is conveniently located near the nesting and breeding grounds of many northern bird species such as sea gulls, pelicans, herons and even Canadian Geese. A simple walk along the beach in front of Oregon Coast vacation rentals will offer plenty of opportunities to spot bald eagles and even puffins, too.

Schedule a Stay in Pacific City Lodging and Watch the Whales

The gray whale’s migration path passes directly through the area of Pacific City rentals, providing beautiful views of the animal from the coast or even on the water. High viewpoints atop the cliffs allow you to see this animal from land, or you could rent a boat to take you out from your Pacific City lodging. During the months of March through May, travelers find the best sightings of the whales, and determine these sightings to be some of the most memorable parts of their stay in Oregon Coast vacation rentals.

Marine Life Galore near Oregon Coast Vacation Rentals

Even if whales aren’t your thing, you’ll still feel as if you’re living in the middle of a zoo while staying in Pacific City rentals. A quiet stroll on the beach surrounds you with resident seals, sea lions, otters and even porpoises that call the area near Pacific City lodging "home." Further inland and in the local nature reserves, you’ll also spot plenty of deer, raccoons and even beach bunnies while staying in Oregon Coast vacation rentals.
