  • Great for hikes, walks and wildlife viewing

"We had a wonderful stay and time, all was great! We took many walks and hikes; down Barview beach (excellent sunset the first night), Lookout Point (saw one gray whale swimming right along the cliff, lots of sea lions, and an Orca pod off in the distance), BayOcean spit (observed many kinds of ducks and waterfowl) and the new Klichis Point Reserve."

  • Better than described!

"Our Georgia family traveled to Oregon for a family wedding and stayed for a vacation. This condo description fit our needs but I didn't realize it would surpass them to such a degree. I will admit, when we couldn't find the A/C, we panicked a little (we are used to 90 degrees and 90% humidity), but the Oregon coast is so cool that it wasn't needed with windows open (fresh air!!) and ceiling fans to circulate. The kitchen was fully stocked, although the cook (me) was on vacation. The beds were so very comfortable, and the extra stuff!! The closets were full of foldable beach chairs for adults and kids, beach towels, games, books, camping stove, sand toys, along with the stack washer/dryer. The 3 TV's allowed us all to zone out at bedtime while recovering from jet lag. The garage is underneath so you don't even park on the street. There is a short 20-30 foot walk to the beach path and it is close to a railroad. However, if anyone has ever been to the Oregon coast, you already know almost all of the coast is less than 1/2 mile from railroad tracks. In the 6 days we were there, we never heard a train. It does have 'only' an ocean view from a window, but an absolutely beautiful view of the mountains from the others. I'll take that any day. There was a lot of practical thinking in equipping this condo for renters. My only regret is we will probably not be back this way to utilize this fantastic place again. Thank you for offering this wonderful place for us to build memories on."

  • Lovely cottage

"We had a great long weekend staying at this cottage near the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals - including local seafood from the jetty up 101 - and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. It was just a few minute walk to the beach access and a few minutes more to the cafe for coffee or the candy shop for sweets. We especially loved the wood stove and hot tub. The house is at the end of the road so it felt like we had a bit more privacy than other homes on the same street."

  • FANTASTIC!!

"What a great house!! Oceanfront with a private path to beach right from lovely deck. We had so much fun at the very quiet beach we didn't have time to enjoy the huge collection of movies in the downstairs "playroom". The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a great stay. Jan and Randy (who built this gorgeous home) couldn't have been more gracious and welcoming. This was, by far, our best beach trip ever and we will be returning soon! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us! By the way, The Old Oregon Smokehouse, a little hole in the wall you'd miss if you blinked driving by, has the best clam chowder I've ever had."
