  • Oceanfront, Rockaway

"A great home for our family reunion. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Fabulous views and access to the beach. Our gatherings on the upper deck were so enjoyable, especially watching the outstanding sunsets. Very little wind at this location. Skip the grocery store in Rockaway....over-priced and poor selection. Property manager was very helpful with all questions and does a great job. Would return to this home."

  • Beautiful house - comfortable stay!

"This is the second year in a row we have rented this house for fieldwork out on the coast. It's beautiful, well furnished, and extremely comfortable for large groups. The kitchen is huge and fully stocked. The hot tub is great, and so is the pool table for evening fun/relaxation. There is plenty of space to spread out. The owners are easy to get in contact with, reliable, and a pleasure to deal with. Would absolutely stay here again for work or pleasure!"

  • Close to Grumpys

"We were absolutely spoiled by the service at Grumpys cafe and this beach house is literally within walking distance of Grumpy's cafe. The owner at Grumpy's lives up to her name, with her furrowed brow and sweat soaked upper lip as she sits right down next to you in your booth to take your order. Don't screw up, you will be publicly shamed. Screw ups include ordering bacon, saving seats for people who aren't there yet, and bringing up Grumpy, the actual owner who lives in a shed in the back and watches the restaurant 24-7 on closed circuit T.V. To get to Grumpy's from the house you have 2 options: 1. you can go out the garage door which is super close to grumpys, or you can go out the ocean side door which is a bit farther but still close. The owner is awesome, responded to our request for directions to Grumpy's cafe immediately, provided a Grumpy's cafe menu and even gave us her husbands cell phone number in case we had trouble finding Grumpy's cafe. The only possible thing I could say negative about this beach house was that technically could be a little closer to Grumpy's cafe but it was definitely close enough for us to enjoy Grumpy's cafe all we wanted. Thanks for a great stay near Grumpys cafe we have recommended this beach house to friends and will be staying at this wonderful beach house again in the future."

  • Family beach vacation

"This was our second time staying at this home. The house is wonderful, from the layout to the decor to the views. We took a day trip to cannon beach to go to the farmer's market and the kids kept asking to go back to the beach house. I have a 2 and 3 year old and they love playing inside the house, but especially in the sandy area off the deck. We took the kids to the beach everyday at low tide and with their wetsuits on they jumped from tide pool to tide pool. I cooked everyday which is a great money saver. Can't say enough good things about this place."
