"Our family of four loved our stay in Rockaway Beach at this great house. The house is small in places, but had plenty of room for us. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. As others have said, the floor is a bit wavy in places, but nowhere near as drastic as others have made it seem. The location was super quiet and an easy walk down to the beach. We found Twin Rocks beach to be one of the best in the area, much better than Cannon Beach which was more crowded and windy. There's not a lot of good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The Old Oregon Smokehouse in Rockaway Beach was amazing and The Park Side Cafe in Garibaldi was great for breakfast. We highly recommend the house."Guest: JG Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 11, 2014View listing
"We stayed here because we were attending my sons wedding. The house was clean and the music on stereo nice. The bathrooms were clean. It was good for us as we were 3 blks from wedding."Guest: Jean F. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 17, 2014View listing
"We were absolutely spoiled by the service at Grumpys cafe and this beach house is literally within walking distance of Grumpy's cafe. The owner at Grumpy's lives up to her name, with her furrowed brow and sweat soaked upper lip as she sits right down next to you in your booth to take your order. Don't screw up, you will be publicly shamed. Screw ups include ordering bacon, saving seats for people who aren't there yet, and bringing up Grumpy, the actual owner who lives in a shed in the back and watches the restaurant 24-7 on closed circuit T.V. To get to Grumpy's from the house you have 2 options: 1. you can go out the garage door which is super close to grumpys, or you can go out the ocean side door which is a bit farther but still close. The owner is awesome, responded to our request for directions to Grumpy's cafe immediately, provided a Grumpy's cafe menu and even gave us her husbands cell phone number in case we had trouble finding Grumpy's cafe. The only possible thing I could say negative about this beach house was that technically could be a little closer to Grumpy's cafe but it was definitely close enough for us to enjoy Grumpy's cafe all we wanted. Thanks for a great stay near Grumpys cafe we have recommended this beach house to friends and will be staying at this wonderful beach house again in the future."Guest: Kellen m. "Our family of 6, including a baby in a play yard, was able to call this house home base during our stay on the Oregon Coast. While not extremely huge, it met all our needs. There weren't a lot of decorations and trinkets to worry about the kids breaking either. The washer and dryer were a must, and they worked nicely. The beach was a short drive or a longer walk away, and we didn't have to drive too far to see other attractions north (Cannon Beach) and south (Tillamook)."Guest: swmom Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 13, 2014View listing
