  • Best Value and Great Owner!

"Put your concerns aside. We just stayed at Worldmark with this owner and nothing could have been better. Great communication with owner prior to arrival, pleasant front office staff and very accommodating, and the unit and resort were fantastic! Tremendous value! It really was like staying in a place of your own -- if you owned a unit there. From the sound system playing low background music being drowned out by the constant sounds of seagulls and waves crashing, to the fireplace providing the perfect backlighting at night gazing at the stars from the deck, and the ability to cook breakfast in the kitchen and barbeque lunch on the deck each day, this truly was "the life." Pools and Jacuzzis were just the touch necessary after hours of beachcombing, store browsing, and dinner at Mo's. No unpleasant surprises at all. We enjoyed the wonderful location, the cleanliness and amenities with the unit and at the resort, and of course, the Oregon Coast. This is just what we needed to rejuvenate mid-winter season. We are already planning to return when our schedule allows. And the pictures will remind us of how great of a time we had while we were there for Valentine's Day 2015. Amazing and thanks!"

  • Holiday with wildlife

"The Heron’s Rest was a wonderful place for us to spend Thanksgiving week. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a holiday meal and we enjoyed watching the birds from the living room window. A highlight of our visit was the morning when a herd of elk passed through the yard and then swam across the river. We counted almost sixty animals! Thanks for making the cottage a dog-friendly place — our Ozzie had a great time too."

  • Very, very nice

"This is a really nice house, great location and great neighbors. Katie at Oceanside Rentals was great to work with. We really appreciated their accommodating our 4 small dogs. The hot tub was fantastic. Nice fenced in back yard. We will definitely be back."

  • Amazing view, amazing stay, but....

"Three sisters, our families, and our parents stayed here over father's day weekend. The other reviews are all very accurate, the place is amazing, but there are some important factors that I wanted to make others aware of as one is a fairly significant safety issue. Our group included four children aged 11 and under and one toddler. Each floor has very high ceilings, and by the time you reach the top floor you are VERY high off the ground. Neither of the doors on the two upstairs master bedrooms have locks. On a sunny day the top floor gets very hot with all of those gorgeous windows. The style of doorknobs are the lever style, and our just-turned-two year old figured out how to open them on her own in no time. There are no child safety devices available on ANY of the upstairs windows, and with doors that don’t lock this is a recipe for disaster- as we nearly experienced with our toddler. I’d ask the owner to please explore options for adding doors that lock, and adding child safety devices to the windows, as child window falls are more common than you’d think and completely preventable. Plus, this place is otherwise so family friendly I am sure that they get lots of kids staying there. The only other points of note were the slightly lacking kitchen (well worn silverware, dishes, glasses, and no slow cooker), a coffee maker that kept inundating our coffee with grounds, only one DVD player that we could locate and it was not blu ray, and the bedding arrangement downstairs is slightly different than what is stated here on the VBRO website. This website alludes that the downstairs beds may be sofa sleeper beds, but they are in actuality very comfy regular style beds. The distance from the sand ended up not bothering us at all, and other than the window scare that kind of ruined the first day we really did have a lovely time in this stunning home. Our family will probably stay here again and just prepare for stay a little differently."
