  • Oceanfront, Rockaway

"A great home for our family reunion. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Fabulous views and access to the beach. Our gatherings on the upper deck were so enjoyable, especially watching the outstanding sunsets. Very little wind at this location. Skip the grocery store in Rockaway....over-priced and poor selection. Property manager was very helpful with all questions and does a great job. Would return to this home."

  • Fabulous Family House!

"This house has it all....views, roomy kitchen with every cooking utensil/pot/pan you can think of, great room for reading, watching movies or playing games. The beds are really good and the linens are very nice. It's a bit of a hike to the beach but that is how Oceanside is and the beach is grand! Beautiful white sand surrounded by huge cliffs, made me think of northern California. But better, because it's Oregon. Very nice quiet street."

  • Beach Getaway Home

"This beach house has so many nice features, that I can't list them all. My wife and I stayed for a week with our 13 yr. old son and 17 yr. old daughter. We enjoyed the ocean view from the 3rd floor living area which has a deck. But a 2 minute walk down the street brought us right to the beach. And what a gorgeous beach it is! At low tide we walked to our friends' house in Oceanside, and ate some delicious meals at Roseanna's Cafe. One day we drove less than 8 miles to Tillamook, where we did food shopping at Safeway and toured the Tillamook factory. Then we drove a few miles more to Girabaldi, where we bought fresh fish right off the boat at Girabaldi Fish Market. Back at the house, we cooked a gourmet meal on the kitchen's oversized commercial gas range. Everything we needed was there, including the wine glasses, a large steamer pot, and stylish place mats. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. This was very appealing to us, since we have a teen daughter. Our son slept on the sofa in the living area, preferring that to pulling out the sofa bed, and used the 1/2 bath. Everyone was happy. We were grateful for the Wifi & for the fact that Verizon cell phone service worked from the top floor (but not lower floor where the bedrooms are). Unfortunately, our friends, who use AT&T, were unable to get cell phone service at this house. But from what I understand, cell phone service as well as internet service is unpredictable on this part of the coast. There is a land line though. We will stay at this rental again, and highly recommend it. It's worth every penny!"

  • Convenient and Private

"Our family has stayed here several times in the past 5 years. Upon arrival, my favorite thing is opening all of the blinds and windows, welcoming in the fresh, sea air. During the sunny mornings, my husband and I enjoy relaxing in the backyard watching the birds and golfers. The kids love exploring the living room cabinet with plenty of toys, games and books. Later in the morning, we head 3 blocks to the beach, loading up the wagon with pails, shovels and beach towels...all provided. We also took advantage of the tennis rackets this time. The tennis court and playground lies halfway between the house and the beach, primarily along a safe pathway. During the windy afternoons, my husband flies kites with the older kids, while the toddler and I enjoy the sheltered, sandy-bottom playground. We cook most of our meals in the well-stocked and roomy kitchen. In the evenings, we can keep up with our emails, share our pictures, or search the web with the wifi. Thank you to the owners for sharing your wonderful beach home with us!"
