  • Enjoyed by Three Generations!

"Our family of ten, 2 grandparents, 4parents and 4 grandchildren (ages 9 to 16 years) spent a week at the Surf Pines Beach House. We all loved it. The listing description of the house and location were very accurate. Being able to view and walk to the ocean was heavenly. We enjoyed two nights on the beach with a campfire, and on July 4th. saw some great fireworks from our campfire. The house gave everyone space as needed. The large kitchen and dinning areas were excellent for family meals. The two towns, Seaside and Astoria gave us lots of options for eating and activities. Ziplining, go-karts to name just a couple. The Astoria farmers market on Sunday was also enjoyed by all. Historical parks and hiking were also nearby. The weather was also a plus!"

  • What a Deal!

"This house is a very comfortable place to stay when visiting the North Coast of Oregon. It's located in a small mixed use neighborhood just off the road to Sunset Beach State Park. The beach is a little too far to walk to with all your gear-instead you can drive onto the beach and have everything you could possibly need at your fingertips! It was a great beach for flying kites and having a bonfire. If you want tidepools and picturesque offshore rocks you can drive a short distance south to the secluded beaches at Ecola State Park, or Cannon Beach, a lovely old resort community with its big and much photographed haystack rock. Even closer to your vacation rental is the Coney Island style Seaside Resort and the quirky little town of Astoria to the N.E. It was really fun to hike about a mile thru the rainforest up to the historic Astoria Column for a wonderful view of the whole area and to fly balsam airplanes from the top after having made the 164 step accent! Our group of 7 from 1 to 70 loved the house and area as you can tell!"

  • Great weekend get-away

"We rented this cottage for the weekend. It was perfect for our girlfriend's retreat. We found the place to be very clean and they provided everything we needed for a relaxing time at the coast. The beach was very close, and we enjoyed time in Astoria as well as time in Warrenton. The Wet Dog Cafe in Astoria had very good food. The owner was helpful and friendly. We will be back!"

  • Great Cottage, Great location!

"I met a buddy and his son at the house and along with me and my two young sons we had plenty of room. The house is in very good condition; remodeled beautifully. The boys loved the ping-pong table and bunk beds. All the comforts of home were much appreciated. Being located spitting distance to the beach and the main highway was great. We fished the Columbia river every day and it was only a 15-minute drive to the boat launch with Starbucks, Subway sandwiches and Costco on the way. Btw, I couldn't have rented this particular property without its parking area that I needed to park my truck & boat each night - all needs covered! Loved it!"
