  • Portlandia at its best.

"Great home with a lot of character. Location is perfect and very central to all the best things Portland has to offer."

  • A week in portland!

"We are a family of 5 including infant and we stayed in the basement apartment for a week. The place was beautiful! The accommodations were awesome! Caretaker was super nice! Apartment was in a good location and short distance to many attractions. Very private and quiet. Laundry room right outside the door to apartment downstairs which was very convenient. The place had everything we could possibly need even a pack 'n' play and high chair! Just one disappointment...low water pressure in the shower. Other than that, can't complain :)"

  • Hidden in Plain View

"I visit my son in Portland twice yearly and I was eager to break out of my comfortable but bland hotel routine. I wanted to stay near the Alberta Arts District since it is near his home and is an area I find myself gravitating to for frequent dining and shopping. The Kuza Cabin offered the experience I was hoping for. It was modern and cozy at the same time; compact in its design but roomy in its feel. It is right behind the patio of Yakuza Lounge and the family's home which included evening restaurant sounds, limited morning restaurant prep activity and a vague awareness of the owner's family comings and goings. None of this was a problem for me and it felt like a fair trade off for the neighborhood experience as opposed to the physical isolation of a hotel room that is invaded by random street noise. As an occasional single traveller I felt comforted and secure in this setting and I am equally confident my husband will appreciate the space and experience when he joins me on my next trip."

  • Unique Vacation Home

"Our family spent a wonderful week in the main house when we came to Portland to visit a daughter and her husband for the first time since they moved there. It was great to have space for our kids/spouses and grand-children. We made a lot of great memories and had a relaxing time - especially out on the deck or in the hot-tub, enjoying an evening fire and making S'mores, canoeing, swimming, fishing, listening to the sounds of nature (and the trains going by on nearby tracks which we easily got used to), etc. etc. The house was well furnished and we were able to do most of our cooking there. We enjoyed touring the nearby waterfalls, rode Segways to tour Portland, took the kids to the Oregon Zoo, and did some other site-seeing while there. Joyce was very helpful in answering our questions and Peter, the caretaker, was great as well. We would highly recommend staying in this unique home on the water!"

Learn to Skate Like a Pro near Portland Rentals

Many professional and Olympic skaters either started or continued training in the Lloyd Center Ice Rink, found in the mall near Portland lodging choices. Go for an afternoon shopping trip and decide to spend some time on the ice learning a few new moves. This rink is open year-round to locals and visitors to Portland rentals. Some plan a stop here during their Portland travel to simply enjoy a meal while overlooking the public skaters below.
