  • I'll be recommending to my friends

"Just as advertised. The furniture was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, updated and functional. The bed was fine. The location was great for the area. Great coffee shops and restaurants of all variety within easy walking distance. Parks and trails also within easy walking. I did have a car to access some sights outside of Portland and while not plentiful the street parking was never a problem. Wifi was fine. While I figured it out, some instructions for the TV would have been appreciated."

  • Cute, quiet, cozy

"This was our first time visiting Portland, I have to say staying here in this cute house and neighborhood made our experience more authentic and so nice. It was really great to have a cute place to come home to after a long busy day exploring all the awesome things Portland and the beautiful state of Oregon offer. Very VERY cute neighborhood, I highly recommend you stay in Sellwood if you're looking for a small town feel, lots of cute quaint shops, and whats awesome is that downtown Portland is a really close drive even though you feel like you're in a cute small town. Portland is awesome, just what we were hoping for we loved it. The house is in a very quiet location near the end of the street and you'll sometimes hear the faint sound of a train in the distance, really nice and calming. We had a rental car during our stay because we drove outside of Portland and all around, downtown Portland, Mount Hood Timberline Lodge, Columbia River Gorge, Astoria and the coast, Pittock Mansion, Nob Hill, Hawthorne, etc. Sellwood itself is very walkable, you could also bike everywhere if you wanted. Grocery store is really close and so cute, New Seasons grocery, great local foods etc. Only thing we had wished the house had was a fireplace and a little cozier more comfortable couch would have made it awesome, but overall really can't complain. Beautiful design, hardwood floors, art, furniture. Nice small touches of detail give it character. Oh and the sheets were soo soft and comfy, I slept so good, nice towels as well. We loved being in this cute house for our stay in Portland, made our experience really enjoyable. Thank you :)"

  • Downtown Portland Living Tryout

"We rented this condo for the purpose of experiencing downtown Portland to see if we really want to move there from suburbia. The condo is well equipped, so the only thing we needed to bring was clothes and personal items. It worked well for the 2 of us, as we spent a great deal of time out exploring and taking in all the sounds, people and sights. We ate several meals in the condo as there are 5 grocery stores within a 20 minute walk or less. There's a coffee pot, but with 3 really good coffee shops within a block or less you might just want to stow the pot and go out for coffee. Restaurants for whatever food you fancy within 10 minutes or less. At least 8 brewpubs within 15 minutes. Virtually no noise from within the building, but the noise is noticeable from the I-405 with the windows open - which they were all the time due to a warm month. The white noise machine came in handy at night. The unit is in good condition and Ellen was very responsive to any of our requests. If you want to explore further than on foot the streetcar is right out front. You can buy a daily pass that covers the streetcar, light rail and bus. Don't forget to take some hikes in Forest Park, almost 80 miles of trails."

  • Location location location!

"This is our (spouse &me) second stay with Vladimir and it was just about perfect. I especially like the use of laundry facilities in both the places we have stayed. In February it was the property on westover. The studio was clean, linens fresh, and location a 10 minute walk from the streetcar and/or bus. And, this trip I really ventured ventured out more on the bus...felt like a real city girl!!!! In addition, my husband and I walked to a lot of the pearl area, voodoo donuts and experienced a lot of good food. I really recommend this place; if there is ever anything needed, Vladimir is Most cooperative And ready to help. Our next trip to pdx we will definitely stay with vlad's places."
