"We've been to Portland frequently since our daughter moved there and this was one of the most relaxing times. After staying downtown a number of times it was to nice to stay at this peaceful, beautiful location. The back yard was amazing. The neighborhood quiet and peaceful. Short drive to downtown. Would love to stay here again and again."

"My group of 3 had a great time at Lisa's condo in Portland. We were provided a queen air mattress at our request, and this will now be available for future guests (it's self-inflating and very comfortable!). The location is beautiful as it sits right by the river. We spent almost every late evening outside by the fire pit with a few beers. The location is great for walking almost anywhere in Northern Portland. We needed a car for a ski trip, so the free covered parking spot was very appreciated and very close to the condo. A couple of my local friends stopped by for a few drinks, and they were very impressed with the digs. I highly recommend staying here! Our hosts were very accessible via email, and all instructions were very minimal and straightforward."

"We are 2 couples who shared this absolutely comfortable and perfectly laid out townhouse for 5 nights, the townhouse located in the alphabet district from where we walked almost everywhere in town. The two bedrooms on opposite ends of the townhouse provided privacy, and each having a bath made it absolutely practical. There was also a half bath downstairs, which was very convenient for my husband and me who wake up early and didn't want to risk making noise going back upstairs in the early morning hours. The beds had very soft and luxurious sheets and there was a large supply of thick towels as well. The kitchen was fully equipped and we had breakfast there each morning, sometimes at the table outside on the patio. We had dinner at home one night as well and all the necessary condiments were provided. We took full advantage of the washer and dryer, and again, we greatly appreciated the fact that detergent was available to us as well.
For delicious bread and marionberry scones, head to Ken's Artisan Bakery on NW 21st. We indulged at Salt and Straw, the incomparable ice cream shop on NW 23rd where on all the other times we walked by there was a line around the corner.
Our first morning, we walked to the beautiful Chinese Gardens where we had a very informative tour. The next day we drove to the stunning and peaceful Japanese Gardens, and the nearby rose garden where we spent hours walking and wandering. One day we headed out to the not-to-be-missed Columbia River Gorge and its gorgeous trails and waterfalls, the highway easily accessed from the townhouse. I suggest NOT doing it on the weekend if possible. We hit horrid traffic returning to the city, and it was on a weekday.
We were given the security code for the garage where we were able to keep our car easily and safely parked. Once inside, the keys were on the kitchen counter. Accessing the house for the first time and then leaving the keys was a very easy process and much appreciated since we arrived very late our first night there. We had a glitch initially having our second and final deposit check reaching Loreli in a timely manner due to issues on our and her end, but it was all resolved and we also received our security deposit soon after our return home. it all worked out! We had five unforgettable days in the Portland area. We all HIGHLY recommend the townhouse!"

"We had a great time in Portland, we came in for 4 days for a festival and it was lovely to have this cozy, comfortable, clean, and charming cottage as our home base. We went to shows and sightseeing to many different parts of the city and it was easy to walk many places or hop on Portland's fantastic public transit. Highlights of the cottage for us were: great natural lighting (especially love the skylights!), beautiful perennial garden outside, and experiencing "tiny" house living. Everything was perfect!"
