  • The views!!!

"We loved this place. On clear days you can see Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens. Great location. Easy to get to any place you want to go. A little hard to find due to the street signs not being the clearest but we'll worth the hunt. Owners are great! Handy if you need anything but otherwise you never know they're upstairs. Will stay here next time we visit Portland."

  • We spent a wonderful month in this lovely home in the Sellwood/Moreland area!

"This location cannot be beat, with restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, a movie theater, a park, a library and so much more. We highly recommend Fat Albert's and Renee's Cafe for breakfast. We also enjoyed dinner at the Oaks Bottom Pub and Cha Cha Cha. It was a wonderful area to walk around and check out the architectural aspects of the homes. Our son and family live in Portland so we were able to spend some quality time with them and be there for our granddaughter's first birthday. The bungalow is older, but beautifully restored in the original style. The rooms are painted with beautiful, soothing colors and the details such as pictures and decorations are perfectly suited for the house. The beds are wonderful, which is not always the case in a rental home. I have back problems and was nervous about a month in another bed but the mattress was perfect and I didn't have any problems with my back at all. Our daughter and two grandchildren came for a visit and our grandson had a ball in his "man cave" downstairs, complete with bunk beds, futon and a TV. The basement is large and friendly, with the one bedroom and another large area where the washer and dryer are and also a grouping of furniture. I could see spending time down there in the summer, where it would be nice and cool. There is a cute little backyard, with lawn and a patio. Unfortunately, it rained so much while we were there that we weren't able to take advantage of it. It would be perfect for the warmer months though. As with any older home, there are some quirks like sticking doors and creaking floors but it just all added to the charm of the place. Thank you Ilyse for being so responsive to any questions we had. We would rent your home again in a heartbeat!"

  • Great location!

"This little apartment was in a fantastic location for a visit to Portland with great access to public transport and lots of great things to see, do, and eat within walking distance. It is small and you can certainly hear your neighbours, but has all the basic amenities and an air-conditioning unit in the bedroom. Our only real complaint would be that the bed wasn't super comfy, in part due to the EXTREMELY squeaky bed frame. Otherwise it was great!"

  • Great getaway near Kennedy School and best restaurants

"This is a cute garden level getaway with no stairs where you can sit outside and enjoy a cuppa in the morning. It is walking distance from historic Kennedy School, theater and pool and one short block to some of the best Portland restaurants including Beast and DOC. With a responsive owner who keeps the place clean and attractive."
