"A group of us needed a place to stay for a family wedding. I wanted something quintessential Portland (big Victorian like, flowery yard, quirky). This was it! Big house. We had 3 couples, one single guy and a baby. There was still lots of room for everyone. We didn't even need the cool basement which would be perfect for kids, teens, another couple. The house had cool wood vintage touches with modern conveniences. Street parking was easy. Close to so many cool neighborhoods. You could walk or take cheap taxi to different areas (perfect for after the reception). The owner was available, responsive and made us feel very welcome.
Definitely would recommend this place for multiple couples, big families.
We really loved this place and are really glad we sought it out."

"Tijuana and Milo's apartment was a fantastic home base for our family of 4 plus our schnauzer to spend a few days exploring Portland during spring break. We found the apartment to be as described and were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was, especially at night. Parking was plentiful which is a treat in Portland. It is a charming space with original cabinetry in the kitchen, a clawfoot tub/shower and really high ceilings. It felt clean, spacious and very comfortable. The apartment is a great alternative to a hotel. We love walking around the Irvington neighborhood with all the beautifully restored historic homes. Tijana was very easy to communicate with via email from booking, check in to check out. Great stay, highly recommended!"

"We were so fortunate to find this amazing townhouse to spend our special Christmas with our two sons. One lives in Portland and was unable to take off so we decided to join him. The house had everything, including a small Christmas tree and ornaments Lori set out for us. We took advantage of the garage so no hassles with parking, walked into the Pearl for shopping, Trader Joes, fabulous restaurants, etc. The kitchen was so well equipped we prepared a full Christmas dinner without a hitch. The family room was completely cozy and has a charming deck with a grill that we'll take advantage of when we return in the Spring. The laundry room was an added bonus. Thank you Lori"

"My wife and I stayed in this home in late July for five days. We had been traveling through British Colombia with our kids and then just the both of us stayed in Portland to scout areas for a possible relocation. The clean, comfortable home is in the Hawthorne area of Portland. It is quite close to Downtown and the public transportation in this city is excellent. There are bus stops on Hawthorne just one block from the home. We had a car and had no problems with parking. The home had all we needed to prepare solid meals and enjoy them on the deck. It is a safe, clean home and there is plenty of room. We were able to do laundry, which was great on account of the amount of traveling we had been doing. The owner was able to accommodate us and allow us to be in the home prior to the 4 p.m. check in. Thanks! We had to get up at 3:30 that morning to catch and early flight out of Canada. Surrounding this home there are many interesting shoppes, restaurants, pubs, and distilleries. Portland is a walkers and bikers dream. We hope to stay at this home again in the near future. Thanks to Thomas for everything."
