"What a lovely home from home, this home is everything that any family could need! We had a lovely trip to Portland, with space to spare in the house. Close to the attractions we wanted, and within walking distance of shops and restaurants, Brett and Marny have provided loads of information on things to see and do, and are right next door in case of questions.
The house is clean and well equipped, from crockery and kitchen equipment to toys and books, and washing and drying facilities, and the linens were so soft and luxurious.
Sitting in the garden for breakfast on the few dry days was the icing on the cake.
Travelling with teens, I would recommend OMSI for a drizzly afternoon, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, and Segway nation tours of downtown (wrap up warm!). Killer burger is an easy option and Gino's on 13th for a lovely dinner. also the cart pods are a must for quality, different dining!
thankyou for a great stay!"

"This home was fantastic. It was perfect for the weekend retreat that I planned. We were there to get work done. The comfort of the home allowed us to complete all the necessary tasks. The house had plenty of space for everyone to separate and regroup. Kimberly was fantastic at answering all our questions even when we were at the house. She's great to work with. I would definitely recommend this home. Although downtown isn't far, I would suggest renting a car. Renting a car will be far more convenient and cost effective considering it was nearly impossible to get a cab. There was times where we waited over 40 minutes."

"This place was really nice and cute and I loved the vaulted ceilings as it made it feel so spacious. The bed was super comfy but the pillows not so much. (I'm a pillow snob though). The lighting was bad in the main area unless you had shades open and that wasn't very conducive since you are located at the stoplight of a very busy corner. Which also ended to considerable street noise. Our son lives in Portland and we borrowed his box fan and not sure what it would have been like without it masking out the traffic noise. It was really easy to access and the garage right across the front door was handy but rent a small car as the parking in the designated space is tricky. Every thing was clean; with the exception of some black mold growing on the wall next to the floor by the shower. Owner communicated well and all in all it was a great stay for the $$. Would stay here again as long as we have that box fan! Oh and delightful coffee shop and pub across the street was a plus!"

"We loved sitting in the living room or on the patio and looking over the treetops, feeling like we were in the mountains instead of in a great residential area in the middle of Portland. We could walk to many good restaurants, bars, and even some music venues, and the convenient bus was just a short walk away. Christy was friendly and easy to work with, but not at all intrusive though she and Stan were living in the upstairs unit. The fruit in the "comminity orchard" just below the house was just coming into ripeness when we left on Oct 1 - I managed to pick some delicious figs but the persimmons were not yet ready."
