  • I love this Susan's cottage

"I stayed for a few nights in this lovely little cottage. It is charming, beautifully designed, very comfortable, and stocked with everything you need and more. It's in a great location, convenient to the bus, easy bicycling, and great walking neighborhoods. There are many excellent nearby restaurants, bars, food trucks, small shops and other amenities. I had a fabulous time staying here and will come again. I highly recommend the cottage and the host!"

  • D Street

"We were in Portland to visit out daughter and Loved it ! My husband and I could not have been happier with the D Street Studio Apartment. It is a great area with plenty of things to do and see within walking distance of the Studio, all you have to do is go outside the front door. Kim was a very gracious hostess and we appreciated all the extra little touches she has that make you feel right at home. Portland is a beautiful city with so many things to do and see. We will be back again and can't wait to rent again from Kim !"

  • Late July

"My wife and I stayed in this home in late July for five days. We had been traveling through British Colombia with our kids and then just the both of us stayed in Portland to scout areas for a possible relocation. The clean, comfortable home is in the Hawthorne area of Portland. It is quite close to Downtown and the public transportation in this city is excellent. There are bus stops on Hawthorne just one block from the home. We had a car and had no problems with parking. The home had all we needed to prepare solid meals and enjoy them on the deck. It is a safe, clean home and there is plenty of room. We were able to do laundry, which was great on account of the amount of traveling we had been doing. The owner was able to accommodate us and allow us to be in the home prior to the 4 p.m. check in. Thanks! We had to get up at 3:30 that morning to catch and early flight out of Canada. Surrounding this home there are many interesting shoppes, restaurants, pubs, and distilleries. Portland is a walkers and bikers dream. We hope to stay at this home again in the near future. Thanks to Thomas for everything."

  • Awesome location & nice accommodations

"The Butternut Condo was a lovely place for our ladies (3) trip to Portland. Fabulous location with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, & grocery stores all within walking distance. Bus transportation was equally good and easy to navigate. The Condo was very clean, well stocked, and nicely decorated. All that said, I would be remiss not to mention a few things a potential renter might need to know. The king size bed is quiet comfy, but the pull out couch is absolutely awful!!! The owner did, after I asked, provide a twin size thin egg crate foam pad. It helped a little, but not much. Do not expect more than one person to sleep on the pull out bed and definitely don't expect to get a good night's sleep. So truthfully, the condo comfortably only sleeps 2 people. You are paying for air conditioning, but don't expect too much! If the air outside is 75% or less, it automatically shuts off!! And finally, there's the check in time. The 4 - 6 p.m. time frame allotted stinks!!!! We were charged an additional $100.00 more because we did not arrive during the check in time. I firmly believe the fee was over priced and not necessary at all. The condo has a number code lock that is programmed with your cell number to allow entry. There is a notebook full of detailed information to acclimate one to the details of the condo. The owner's daughter lives on the other side of the condo and could have easily let us in or visited with us the next day. So, be forewarned, if your flight arrives after 6p.m. be prepared to pay a hefty late fee! Other than that, Portland is a fabulous city to explore & you should definitely enjoy your stay."
