  • spacious apartment in a quiet neighborhood

"This is a very spacious apartment with a well stocked kitchen that made it easy for us to do our own cooking. The unit is in an older building but well kept and clean though out. Close enough to downtown Portland but in a quiet and safe area. It was easy to find parking close to the apartment. Safeway and other shopping was within walking distance to the apartment. Would stay again if we were back in Portland."

  • Great home base for a week of Portland exploration

"We stayed for a week at Tijana and Milo's apartment and had a great time. The space was as described and pictured with easy street parking and even a backyard we were able to eat in a few times. The location is great for exploring on foot as well as by car. By car, it seemed to take only 15 minutes to get to any of the neighborhoods we wanted to explore. We like to walk, so 40 minutes on foot was a nice adventure to the Pearl and Downtown. We didn't spend too much time on Broadway near the house but we went to nearby Tiny's (recommended by our hosts) a few times for coffee and breakfast and also loved Whey Bar (next to Ox) and Toro Bravo which are walkable from the house. For breakfast and nights we didn't go out we cooked in the fully functional kitchen and had lovely nights just hanging out in the well appointed apartment. Overall we'd recommend this space to anyone looking for a nice, low-key place to unwind and launch Portland explorations from--we'd definitely return ourselves."

  • Great stay

"We stayed in this lovely apartment for seven weeks and really enjoyed it. Carolyn was extremely accommodating with the move-in times and she responded immediately to a couple of minor issues that arose along the way. The couch and bed were the most comfortable we've had during our very extensive recent travels, and the kitchen was well-equipped and easy to work in. We had a cold snap during our stay and the wall heaters in each room warmed us up in no time. The location is very central so we could walk and bike to a lot of cafes, music venues, etc. We did have cars as well and had no problems with parking in front of or next to the building. The neighborhood was beautiful, quiet and felt very safe. With its proximity to Broadway and MLK, getting to other parts of town was quick and easy. Highly recommended!"

  • What a TREAT!

"First, let me say, Rupert is a gem! We met only briefly, but he is truly a man who emanates good energy. The apartment is cozy and very thoughtfully designed. I spent 3 nights and could have stayed 3 weeks. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe and very conducive to morning runs, walking to groceries (Whole Foods is about 9 blocks) and a variety of eating/entertainment establishments (less than 5 blocks). Parking was easy, not to mention access to a garage beneath the apartment if desired. The apartment has a well furnished, nicely appointed kitchen, cute gas fireplace, nice spacious bathroom and a cozy bed in the loft. You can't go wrong booking a stay here."
