"My group of 3 had a great time at Lisa's condo in Portland. We were provided a queen air mattress at our request, and this will now be available for future guests (it's self-inflating and very comfortable!). The location is beautiful as it sits right by the river. We spent almost every late evening outside by the fire pit with a few beers. The location is great for walking almost anywhere in Northern Portland. We needed a car for a ski trip, so the free covered parking spot was very appreciated and very close to the condo. A couple of my local friends stopped by for a few drinks, and they were very impressed with the digs. I highly recommend staying here! Our hosts were very accessible via email, and all instructions were very minimal and straightforward."

"My partner and I stayed in the condo for ~5 weeks in October / November with our newborn babies. The condo was perfect for our needs - superbly located at walking distance from Portland's greatest areas, clean, quiet and well equipped. We felt completely "at home away from home". The condo met its description perfectly and similarly met our expectations fully. Ellen, the owner, was pleasant to interact with, accommodating and responsive. A problem with the plumbing in our unit was immediately and fully repaired. Relatives who stayed in another one of Ellen's units in the same building also experienced excellent service.
The only (minor) disadvantages I would note - the unit didn't have a duvet, so if you're picky about sleeping with one make sure you bring your own; the unit doesn't have A/C (though fans are provided), so if you tend to be hot, you should consider that fact. Regardless, we would warmly recommend this unit to couples that are looking to comfortably spend some time in a great part of town."

"The condo was perfect for us- kitchen, space to relax (living room, dining area) and comfortable.
We liked being right on the river in "urban" Portland and the area is convenient for walking to NW districts.
Owners could put a little effort into some minor "amenities"- i.e, why have a bed with 2 bedside tables and only one bedside lamp?. The cabinet in the supply closet is in disrepair, and maybe a coffee machine that makes more than 2 cups would be a plus.
Otherwise we were very happy with the location, ease of negotiating around Portland, and surrounding area (we had a car), and the comfort and cleanliness in the condo.
We would return here."

"Such a great location to explore Portland from! Exactly as described, the condo was within walking distance to everywhere you'd want to go within the city and easy access to the Max. Tony was great to deal with and provided a ton of information to help us get acclimated to the location. The hardest part was leaving on the last day"
