  • Truly enjoyed our stay

"Great location, easy walking to downtown or to catch the lite-rail. Had a very nice walking path along the river. The condo was all and more than we expected, clean, comfortable and secure. Guy was very pleasant and helpful. We would definately stay here again."

  • Great vacation in the Pearl!

"My husband and I just returned from a week's stay in Portland. This was an area that I had wanted to visit for some time, and I wanted to live like a local. So, this condo fit the bill. The codo was in a great area of Portland, the Pearl District. In walking distance to many great restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Whole Food's was about a block or two away and Powell's bookstore the same. My favorite coffee shop, Cafe Umbria was also within a couple of blocks. There is a 24 hour fitness gym near the condo for exercise buffs. Some of my favorite restaurants included Paragon, Brix, Parish and Henry's. For a special cocktail, try Teardrop Lounge. Also, would recommend the BrewCycle for bar hopping---that was a blast!! Met some great people. If you are visiting the city only, you really do not need a car. We rented a car for 2-3 days to take some day trips to the falls and Hood River. However, public transportation is excellent for getting to and from the airport and around the city. The condo itself lived up to my expectations. It is just as the pictures and listing describe. It was very clean with an excellent king size bed. You won't have to worry about a good night's sleep. The building itself is very quiet--did not hear noise from the neighbors. I especially liked having a washer and dryer in the unit. The kitchen was very well equipped with all paper products, as well. Leo, the owner, was very easy to work with and even allowed us to change the day of our arrival to accommodate cheaper airfare. He was very prompt in answering our questions through e-mail, text and phone. He provided a list of important information about the condo, such as the TV, internet, air conditioning, recycling, etc... I couldn't have asked for a better experience!! Only wished we could have stayed longer! Would definitely stay there again and would recommend this condo to friends or relatives."

  • Perfect.

"It was all that I would have hoped for, as represented, and seeking for our vacation. Perfect location in the Pearl, very walkable to groceries, dining, drinking, brewpubs, mass transit, the river, everything. You don't need a car unless you don't want to walk. The property lacked nothing, kitchen had two coffee making options, all utensils, steamer, grater, toaster, barbeque grill, martini glasses, shaker, name it and they had it. Abundant and luxurious towels, wonderful bed linens, plentiful pillows... Quiet location. Very comfortable. Can't say enough, but think I have. Mair was a delight as well. A definite if you are seeking ideal accomodations in the Pearl."
