Great stay in Portland
"Fantastic little condo in a great location with a view right onto the river and immediate access to a path that follows the river all the way down the riverfront. It was also great to have quick access to a little patch of grass for the dogs potty break. I was a bit concerned that being so close to the train station, it might be noisy, but that wasn't the case at all. And even though our stay coincided with Portland's hottest stretch of weather on record, the air conditioner worked great and we stayed cool and comfortable and slept really well. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone, and the communication and help from the property manager was excellent as well."

"My reviews echo a bit of the others -- The location is outstanding. You can walk all over the Pearl and really don't need a car unless you plan to leave the area. The unit has great close parking and super easy to get to. The pool, was also a nice amenity. The Mini market that is 50 yards away is also a huge plus. The only downside I could report is the train and Max noise. I live in the city so I'm used to noise but from time to time the train brakes and two max trains on bridge were a bit annoying. I would probably stay here again though, but bring ear plugs to sleep with :)"

"Sunita makes her place so welcoming with Stump Town coffee and great chocolate . She emailed the second day to check on things and was concerned that the weather might effect my visit. This was my third stay and the quality of hospitality was consistent ! The apartment is well furnished and the view from the deck is awesome. She was booked one year and I stayed at another unit at the complex - no comparison- Sunita is the best."

Spacious, beautiful home in the heart of the action!
"Let me start by saying that the photos on this website definitely do not do this home justice. We had a little family reunion here, with my husband and me and my parents in the two bedrooms and my brother on the sleeper couch. The house was huge, even with 5 people. It was well-furnshed and well-equipped in every room and also nicely decorated. It was nice having two full bathrooms attached to each bedroom. The bedrooms were very spacious and had ample closet/drawer space and great ceiling fans above the beds. The skylights in the top floor were also nice for filling the house with natural light. We appreciated the half-bath on the main floor and that the kitchen was really very well stocked with utensils, but also with a few odds and ends/spices that others had left there at some point. The Internet connection was excellent and the satellite TV was nice. We loved having the giant gas grill on the deck and enjoyed the comfy seating arrangement there as well. We had two cars during our stay, and the garage and parking in the driveway were spacious enough for them. However, you won't really need a car in this area. Downtown is about a 15-minute walk and the house is around the corner from tons of great restaurants and bars. We loved Ken's Artisan Bakery as well as Red Onion for Thai food. Though I never used the tram or public transportation in Portland, my parents and brother did and had no problems at all - even met the greatest people on the tram! (By the way, people in Portland seem to be EXTREMELY nice. Coming from the South, I thought I knew what hospitality was, but people in Portland seem to go out of their way to greet and help you.) Come to Portland hungry and thirsty - everything seems to revolve around food and beer in this city, and there are a million great places to try in a lot of the different districts in town - but this home is an excellent base for exploring the Pearl and the rest of the city."
