"A group of us needed a place to stay for a family wedding. I wanted something quintessential Portland (big Victorian like, flowery yard, quirky). This was it! Big house. We had 3 couples, one single guy and a baby. There was still lots of room for everyone. We didn't even need the cool basement which would be perfect for kids, teens, another couple. The house had cool wood vintage touches with modern conveniences. Street parking was easy. Close to so many cool neighborhoods. You could walk or take cheap taxi to different areas (perfect for after the reception). The owner was available, responsive and made us feel very welcome.
Definitely would recommend this place for multiple couples, big families.
We really loved this place and are really glad we sought it out."

"This NW Portland Classic was an excellent place to stay as we explored Portland. The owner clearly knows what is important to travelers. The decor is beautiful and serene; we enjoyed the high quality bed linens and comfy beds; and, we appreciated the good shower and nice towels. The large screen TV was perfect for a mini-marathon of "The Voice" and the kitchen was very complete (missing only a bit of sugar for my coffee). Even my concerns about parking were unfounded as we parked directly in front of the property every night. This is a great area of beautiful old homes, great shopping and wonderful restaurants. Easy access to other parts of Portland."
