  • Great weekend getaway

"Thank you so much! We drove to Portland for a quick 2 night getaway from Vancouver, Canada. The cottage is located just a quick 10 min drive from the heart of DT. In addition, the neighborhoods that are close to the cottage SE Division etc.. have so much to explore, we only went into down a couple days. Best is they have bikes for you to use and explore the neighborhoods!! Great little loft rental- definitely willing to recommend + stay again. Only one small glitch by Homeaway when setting up our code for the lock box to get our key. We had 2 different people call for reservations and they used one ph# for the box but emailed us the wrong code. We arrived late (11pm) and had to fumble in the dark for 30 mins trying to figure out how to get in + call around and email to try to get access to property. We felt bad because it was late and didn't want to wake the neighbors. BUT the owners were amazing! They found out the issues we had and next day had a plate of brownies + cake with a sorry letter. Great care of their guest. Thank you."

  • A perfect pocket-sized studio

"I needed to stay in Portland for 6 weeks and could not drive. The location (across the street from light rail) and easy walking distance to stores and restaurants made the condo perfect for me. Friends used the included parking slot when they visited. The condo is well stocked with basics and even came with plastic wrap. Comfy bed, nice towels, roomy closet, fun dishes! Having a laundry in the basement was convenient. The owner was easy to communicate with and very responsive when a light bulb burned out. A good place for a longer stay."

  • Perfect for several couples plus a baby

"A group of us needed a place to stay for a family wedding. I wanted something quintessential Portland (big Victorian like, flowery yard, quirky). This was it! Big house. We had 3 couples, one single guy and a baby. There was still lots of room for everyone. We didn't even need the cool basement which would be perfect for kids, teens, another couple. The house had cool wood vintage touches with modern conveniences. Street parking was easy. Close to so many cool neighborhoods. You could walk or take cheap taxi to different areas (perfect for after the reception). The owner was available, responsive and made us feel very welcome. Definitely would recommend this place for multiple couples, big families. We really loved this place and are really glad we sought it out."

  • Loved the happy house.

"Perfect for families with children. our son loved the toys, child size bed, step stool and park 2 blocks away. Yet the house was nice and stylish for adults too."
