  • Bandon Dunes Golf Trip

"This place is magnificent!!! What a great place for any group trip, whether it's family or a group of golfers, it's a great location directly across the street from the entrance to Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. The views from the back over the river are breathtaking, and we've decided as a group that this is our new go-to spot for golf trips. BOOK THIS PLACE, you won't be disappointed. The kitchen is massive and great for entertaining and cooking. Such a classy, clean, comfortable, historic home. Each stay has been a better experience than the last."

  • Exceeded Our Expectations!

"We held our family reunion here. My husband and I rent the whole place as a treat for out six adult children and our grands (including two great grands!). It really gave all the cousins a time to reconnect. What we liked best is that there was something to do for all ages. No one...not even the teenagers were bored! We held a family dance in the gazebo up at the top of the hill one of the evenings we were there. It was so much fun, and everyone danced! Forever memories were made!!"

  • Cozy Irish House

"We loved our stay at the Irish House! It was a perfect place to come home to after a long day of tide-pooling, beach-combing, and dune-hopping. The wood stove got good use during our stay, and the electric blankets on the bed were a nice touch. Washer and dryer on site (which also got good use!), showers with yummy-smelling soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The onsite manager went above and beyond when it came to making sure we were comfortable and happy. Within a few minutes of our arrival, he arrived with a wheelbarrow full of cut firewood, as well as a pack n play and toddler bed for the kids. There was a full bag of ice in the freezer, and little ghiradelli mints on the pillows. Traveling with children can be fun, but unfortunately is often stressful. With that being said, this is truly the first vacation with the kids that I have felt RELAXED and worry-free. There were plenty of toys for them to play with, and the surrounding woods are a great way to spend time together exploring. (My son found a four-leaf clover!) There is a private dock to the river as well, but we didn't get a chance to use it. No complaints at all! Just a note about the weather: it can be very wet and rainy in Bandon, so be prepared! The Irish House has a boardwalk around the property so your feet don't get wet, but off the path, the yard can get muddy. It didn't present too much of a problem since there were so many other places outside where the kids could play. One last note: the owners and manager gave me the impression that they truly see the occupants as GUESTS- and they want to serve you and be helpful, and make sure you enjoy your stay in Bandon. Other properties in the area we were looking at made us feel like they were doing US a favor by letting us stay at their property. (?!) Not so at the Irish House (and the Norwegian and Swedish homes next door.) They made us feel like we were doing THEM a favor by letting them host us! A huge difference when it comes to customer service. We were very pleased with our stay, and give the Irish House an enthusiastic 5 stars!"

  • Breathtaking Views

"Beautiful home, incredible views, unforgettable time with family. Close to everything, beaches, old town, dining nearby, or better yet, just relax and watch the seals play! House was perfect for everyone from great grandma to the youngsters. On a very quiet, dead end street and the close by beach perfect for small children. Clean, bright, enjoyed the well appointed kitchen. Thank you for sharing your home with our family."
