"The listing description is accurate. The condo unit is well appointed with amenities found in a permanent residence. We had concerns with the condo, however the unit is super quiet due to it's top corner location. You get ocean views from two walls instead of one. The property is clean and well-maintained. The owner provided excellent customer service.
My family (me,wife,10boy, 7girl) used the Brookings condo as a base camp to explore the area. We spent two days exploring Redwoods NP. We explored Crater Lake NP another day. The other days we explored the many hiking trails along the southern Oregon coast. We'd walk the Rainbow Rock beach in the mornings and evenings. We skipped every tourist trap and spent time playing on beaches, rocks, and fallen trees. Back to basics, it was heaven.
We made breakfast in the condo and ate out for lunch and dinners. We preferred the Brookings area more than Crescent City, CA. The Whaleshead restaurant just north of the condo was a very pleasant surprise. The Vista Pub served excellent burgers and onion rings."

"Stunning views! The unit was well-equipped, just a little dated. But the view more than makes up for that, in my opinion. We were only there a very short time, but there was lots to do nearby if you enjoy hiking and the beach. Easy to find and the owner was very easy to work with."

"Thanks Wendy! This is such a great house way up on a hill overlooking Brookings. The house is not terribly hard to find but it is very high on the hill. There is enough space for any size group and every room has a tremendous view. There are no curtains or blinds on any of the windows which is a little odd, especially in the bedrooms. However, since there are not really any close homes, it really isn't a privacy issue."
