  • Awesome condo

"My husband and I just took our now 3 month old for a week in Brookings. We absolutely loved this condo. The views from the living room, kitchen, and balcony are unobstructed and absolutely breathtaking. Although there is lots to do and see in and around Brookings, I would have been satisfied to just sit in the coziness of this condo looking at the water. The place was easy to find, extremely clean, had great parking just in front of the unit, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. There were even binoculars so we could see the whales:) We only used the bed in the master, but it was very comfortable and the linens were nice. We will definitely stay here again when we make it back to Brookings. Jeannie was very easy to reach and super helpful with recommendations for places to eat and things to see. Highly recommend eating at the Chart Room in Crescent City if you make is that far south."

  • Lovely, Comfy homey and Clean

"We arrived on a Monday afternoon after an 8 hour trip, to a lovely park model overlooking the Chetco River. Doug had seen to it that all of our needs were met plus mints on the linens. This adorable rental is located close to the Port of Brookings, shopping, sightseeing and, in our estimation, is an ideal location for two people who want to become familiar with the area. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, dishes and all of the amenties to cook delicious meals, which we prefer to eating out. Bring your own food and seasonings, but all else is there including a nice washer and dryer shared with the other unit. Thanks Doug, for your hospitality and meeting all of our needs. We will be back next year."

  • Great Views! Great Beach! Great Stay!

"We had a very enjoyable stay at the house! The privacy and quiet of the house is amazing considering the closeness of the neighbors. The private beach is one of the best we'd been to yet, not too windy, tons of driftwood and you can walk for quite a way along the water's edge:-)) Have to say we were disappointed that the fireplace/now electric(?) didn't work; and the stairs to the beach would present a problem for folks with bad knees/disabilities of that type; but all in all, we definitely plan on coming back!"

  • Beautiful View but needs some TLC

"The view from the condo is fantastic. However, the place needs new carpeting and appliances. The outdoor grill was rusted and very dirty, so we were not able to use it when we stayed at the condo. The condo layout is very nice - open concept, and they have a nice sitting area by a window which looks right down the coast at some beautiful rock outcrops. It was clean, just showing some wear and tear. This unit is in the first building which is right beside the highway, so you do get some traffic noise."
