  • Family vacation

"We stayed for 3 nights and wish it had been longer. It was perfect for the 8 adults and 4 kids in our group. Will be back for sure. Favorite place on the coast!"

  • Amazing gem!

"Loved this place! It was a beautiful little cabin with great amenities. We were there with our two pugs, and it was the perfect size for us. Four people would be fine there, but perhaps a bit tight if it wasn't close family. The property itself it so peaceful and gorgeous. The river is right outside your door. The caretakers who run it(Oscar and Kat), were extremely friendly and helpful. The farm animals on the property were adorable, and very sociable. I have already told my husband that I want to return there next year."

  • Absoutely Awesome

"Rarely are things in life better than expected, but the stay at the condo was. Everything went very smoothly, from reserving it to checking in. The view is amazing. We saw whales almost every day, and were amazed at how close they were. The condo is clean, and had everything you need. I have never written a review before for anything, but feel I need to let you know, if you are considering a condo in Brookings, you will be very pleased."

  • Fantastic weekend

"Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We had a spectacular time. It was foggy most of the time, but that dis not distract from the view or the accommodations. Hope to visit again."

Brookings Travel Tips

Bring on the Fun with Brookings Rentals

The Southern Oregon Coast is a great place to take the family for your next vacation. Or, if you want a romantic getaway, it will not get much better than this! Tucked away in southern Oregon’s “Banana Belt” you will enjoy warm, sunny weather while staying in Brookings rentals; it's must like a stay on the Mediterranean Coast. Staying on the beach in any Oregon Coast vacation rentals will allow you to have fun in the sun while other Brookings lodging allows for more subdued nature hikes.

Oregon Coast Vacation Rentals Offer a Taste of Local History

Though most people think of Native Americans when they think of the Oregon coast, there is much more recent history as well. Some Oregon coast vacation rentals are situated near Bombsite Trail, which is about 10 miles inland. This is the only area in the continental United States that was bombed during World War II. A memorial stands to commemorate the event and is accessible from most Brookings rentals.

Staying in Brookings Lodging? Do Not Miss Azalea Park

Anyone staying in a Brookings lodging must pencil a day at Azalea Park into their vacation calendar! The park is a sight to see with special displays throughout the year. In the winter, folks staying in Brookings rentals can catch a glimpse of the Nature’s Coastal Holiday Light Show and Sculpture Display and the Oregon Kite Festival in the summer. The park is the perfect place for picnics and family get-togethers as well.

Love Nature? You Will Love Brookings Rentals

Although the beaches and the parks surrounding most Oregon Coast vacation rentals are a wonder to experience, there is something to be said if you love nature as well. There are several spots along the southern Oregon Coast that are perfect for whale-watching. Whale-watching tours are quite popular, so it is wise to book early, probably when you book your Brookings lodging. If you prefer rivers to the open sea, schedule a river tour on the Chetco.
