"This is a great little house that had all that we needed for our 10th anniversary vacation. We were looking for a spot to escape the heat of Redding, and this fit the bill nicely. The blackberry bushes just outside were a bonus and we enjoyed a nice cobbler. We also enjoyed walking on the beach, shell/rock/driftwood finds, and sunsets together. This house was recommended to us by some friends, and we highly recommend it too. We will visit again!
Be sure to eat at the Oceanside Diner at the Harbor (get there before noon as they close early), and get a coffee at The Bell and Whistle Coffee House to enjoy as you stroll the Harbor. If you head south to Crescent City, check out The Chart Room at the Harbor there - the fish tacos are delicious.
The owner is a great guy and he quickly responds to any questions or needs you may have."

"We had a great time staying here. It was close to lots of great beach and riverspots to visit and was comfortable for our large group. Two things made it less than great: a dead sea lion right on the beach outside of the house (which is just part of nature) and the stairs to the beach. The stairs were super treacherous esp. for the older folks in our group. I wish their condition had been disclosed in the listing."

"We just returned from a relaxing week at this great beach house. We were joined by members of three generations of our family, ages 8 to 70 and the house had something for everyone. The game room provided lots of challenges and laughs and there is a huge movie library. Brookings was a welcome relief from the wild fire smoke that has settled into the Rogue Valley and Northern California. Even though beach fires have been banned for the time being you can still make s'mores on the barbeque!"

"Our group of 7-8 women have stayed at Pelican Path for the last 4 or 5 years as an incredible getaway. The views are outrageous, the kitchen is well stocked, the home is always very clean and welcoming.
Lounging on the deck, barbecuing, walking on the beach, whale watching, playing games, eating at the sushi restaurant and burgers at the Vista Pub........our days there are full and magical.
