  • Girls 5th reunion

"For the last five years five of us long time friends that now live miles apart meet for a reunion. Lands Ends was great. It was big enough to give us all our space yet kept us all close enough that one of us did not need to sleep away from the group. The Hot tub was clean. We enjoyed the sun room, it was great for your morning coffee and watching the waves. The kitchen was well supplied and the view from the dining and living room was just fabulous. There is a well groomed path right off the deck that takes you to the beach. I love the beach here. It had the feeling of a private beach. I never saw more than 5 people at one time. There is not a lot to explore on this beach but when the tide is out there are star fish and anomie's you can enjoy. I mostly loved just walking on the beach watching the waves and smelling the ocean air. We really felt everything was provided well for us and we had a very fun and relaxing time together. I do have to say it is very close to a cliff so if you have small children one may want to consider this. And the beds were all very comfortable except for one. The left bed in the room with two queens was very hard and lumpy. But maybe they wanted one firm bed for a choice of beds. All in all this was a happy, clean, relaxing place to stay. We would return and recommend this place to our friends."

  • Rouge River Treat!

"We enjoyed our quick, 2-night stay, and it was a treat to be so close to a great spot on the river. Would recommend taking the Jet Boat ride up the river for the full experience. The cabin was bright and clean as advertised. The kitchen was tiny with room for only one (skinny) cook, but did have what we needed to prepare our meals. Satellite TV service was nice and our Verizon phones offered 3G service most of the time. Our only regret at the end of our stay was we did not have an extra day to do a float on the river. Bring your inner tubes!!"

  • Amazing place to spend our Honeymoon

"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in May, and I must say it definitely exceeded our expectations!! The beach was virtually empty, unlike the beaches in Southern California where we are from. The house is definitely big enough for a family, but we also enjoyed having a little extra space for just the two of us. The kitchen was great, and we were able to cook all the fresh fish and crab that we caught while out on our fishing excursions with 5 Star Charters. The house is also very close to the Rogue River where we spent the day sight seeing and not far from Bandon where we interacted with animals at the little safari. The jet boat was another amazing adventure that is only a few minutes from the house. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck, watching the whales and sea lions. It was so wonderful to have a Jacuzzi on the deck where we were able to watch the sun set each evening. This house has all the amenities including kites which we flew on our last evening there. We were able to walk to the shore every evening to catch Perch and just watch the waves roll in. Our original plan was to go to Hawaii, and when my girlfriends found out we were going to Oregon to fish and just relax they all thought I was crazy. I am here to tell you that not only was our wedding a dream come true, so was our honeymoon in this wonderful house on Gold Beach. We have so many wonderful memories, and I can't wait to go back!!! Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful place to spend our honeymoon!!"

  • Our Second 5 Star visit!

"My husband and I spent our 2nd stay at this cozy home . It's decorated with a beach cottage theme. Very clean, comfortable, with every amenity you need. We were lucky to have some of the warmest "70's+" temperatures for our 6-night stay. A couple of cloudy mornings that cleared by early afternoon. The patio area is very inviting with an outdoor granite table, comfortable seating, hot tub and sauna. There are two other separate little "hideaways" on the property where you can relax with a forest garden theme or get a peek at the ocean from the gazebo. The patio is great for watching wind surfers at the ocean cove below. We are already planning our 3rd stay next year. Thanks Jackie....you are a terrific hostess."
