"Outstanding home. Very comfy beds. Great view. Fun location for surfing. Road noise can be a small problem if you sleep with windows open; not horrible but noticeable. Good value. Outstanding art work and atmosphere."Guest: pk Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 12, 2014View listing
"Stayed here for 4 nights and what a charming visit! Joan decorated the place wonderfully with so much character and thoughtfulness. (Was so relaxing browsing through many of Joan's books and magazines) My husband and I cooked a lot and the kitchen was super well equipped. The view from the living room was spectacular-a bit of ocean and tall spruces framed the window. LOVED Port Orford as well-good if you want to truly escape."Guest: Gina L. "My wife and I spent 4 weeks on the Oregon coast celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. This home was truly spectacular, booked it for 7 nights and that was not enough....it was by far one the most impressive homes we stayed in. Thanks for great memories. "My Mother, brother, and I truly enjoyed our stay at Garrison Lake Cottage. It is at the end of the road and seems perfectly private when looking out of the large windows facing the lake and ocean. We loved Jane's artwork in the home. We got a "loaded" pizza, a huge 1/2 chef's salad, and big French dip sandwich at Siren's Cove Café. The service was great and the food excellent... There are many places to take photos close to the cottage. We were lucky to see a bright rainbow over the "Heads" beach area...Thanks Jane. Loved your cottage.
