  • Rainbow Rock condo, Brookings Oregon

"We would give this condo an A+ in every way. Rainbow Rock is just as beautiful as the photos show online. This condo was comfortable and clean, with a great ocean view. Brookings is a nice, bustling little town on the coast, and you are a half days drive from the California Redwoods to the south, or a half days drive from beautiful Oregon coastal towns to the north. If you want to stay right there, the Condo beach trail will take you right down to a very beautiful beach. This two bedroom condo really sleeps 4, with additional space on the couch in the living room if your party is bigger. We had 5 people, and it worked out ok. Three couples would be too many."

"We just got back from one week at the Helm. Great location and right on the beach. Couldn't ask for a better place. It had everything we needed for an excellent beach vacation."

  • Great place, noisy neighbors

"The Hacienda House surpassed my expectations, the pictures don't depict the spaciousness, it was a little hard to find tucked back off the road. The neighbors have some sort of music system with the base set very high, it played all day and all night. Still it is a great place, would love to return. Thanks! M & J"

  • Great view is right on!

"Beautiful view! Comfortable beds, owner great to work with and close walk to a nice beach. Disappointed that only one side of the garage was usable,as well a deck off the bedroom. The jets in the bathtub wouldn't turn off one night and when it rained hard, water dripped at a pretty good rate down the front of the fireplace glass, soaking two dish towels over night. Those things didn't affect our stay. We enjoyed the home and surroundings. It just would have been nice to have been notified prior to coming, of the garage situation and I was really looking forward to the bathtub with jets=) Not a deal breaker though."

Reedsport Travel Tips

Reedsport Vacation Rentals Are in Position to Access Oregon's Coastal Beauty

Right off the scenic Oregon Coast Highway, Reedsport lodging puts you within range of activities to satisfy everyone in your group. Near Winchester Bay and Salmon Harbor, where the Umpqua River meets the ocean, Reedsport offers access to both fresh and salt water related pursuits, as well as proximity to the famous Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and its ocean vistas.

The National Recreation Area's forty mile stretch houses dozens of miles of hiking trails, sandy off-road vehicle sites for ATV enthusiasts, and thirty lakes with freshwater boating, fishing, swimming, and wildlife viewing. Visit the ODNRA visitor center right near your Reedsport lodging for information on how to rent a dune buggy, trail recommendations, and tips on when to go and how to enter. Advice from the locals is worth following, and booking Reedsport vacation rentals instead of a hotel room is also great advice. Get more space for less money and enjoy your Oregon coast vacation even more.

Cast Your Line from Reedsport Vacation Rentals

Freshwater fishing in the Umpqua River and the dozens of lakes within the ODNRA provide anglers a chance to catch steelhead, rainbow and cutthroat trout, catfish, and more. Winchester Bay, just ten minutes from Reedsport lodging, features inexpensive deep-sea fishing charters where you can reel in large open sea bottom fish, sturgeon, or salmon, or sink your hooks from shore. Crabbers and clam diggers are welcome, too!

Oregon Coast Cottages Are near So Many Great Activities

Winchester Bay is a community where people love the sea, and you can shell search, beach comb, boat, swim, or paint the sunset with locals and tourists alike. The Reedsport Lighthouse flashes red and white along its 65-foot structure, and visitors can tour the lighthouse's interior.
