  • Beautiful Home in Beautiful Setting

"This home is located above Meyers Creek/Pistol River State Park --a very beautiful stretch of beach just south of Cape Sebastian. The view of McKinley Creek/Pistol River, the beach/ocean, and Crooks Point from the living room and 2 of the 3 bedrooms is absolutely breathtaking. The beach is less than 5 minutes away by car or 10 minutes walking. Jackie does a wonderful job making one feel welcome. She kept the kitchen stocked with popcorn, coffee (Keurig), tea (and tea kettle), hot chocolate and many spices as well as any utensil or pan/dish one might need. The place has a hot tub with view, sauna, an additional secluded deck overlooking old growth forest, heated floors in the tiled bathrooms and kitchen, washer and dryer; and we also got a welcome of delicious fudge which didn't last very long with our family of 4 (adult children). The home is immaculate and beautifully decorated, the hostess very welcoming and accommodating, and the grounds and view absolutely gorgeous. The home is situated up the hill on the east side of highway 101 overlooking the ocean in a somewhat secluded area but not too far from Gold Beach, the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor, or Brookings. We will be back!"

  • Felt like home...

"We just spent the weekend here with our kids and grandkids. Our gathering place for Christmas this year. It was wonderful! Lots of room to spread out. We brought our clothes and food and pretty much everything we needed on top of that was there. Awesome that people are willing to share their home with others. Definitely a five star stay.😊"

  • Secluded, yet with everything you need.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sixes cabin. At first when told there wasn't a key to the front door as they never locked the house, we were concerned but after seeing the location of the home, all was well. It is very secluded. You have to drive by the main farm house in order to get to the cabin so your travels can be monitored. We learned from the tour of the farm home across the Sixes River (on the road on the way to the Point Blanco lighthouse) that the farm house on our property was built by the same builder, about 100 years ago. We saw a total of three people walking on the beach in front of the cabin during the entire time we were there. We would definitely stay here again."
