  • perfect location

"What a great location! Beautiful condo within walking to just about everything. Rooftop deck and whole house sound system are awesome. Lots of stairs, but this girl with a defective heart pushed on. I would recommend towel bars in the bathrooms...there's no place to hang towels. The showers are ridiculous...way too small and cramped, and I'm a petite lady. This is definitely a property I will look at staying again."

  • Perfect Cabin

"The Elkton House is a true gem in the secluded woods of Elkton. Everything was made easy by our Hostess Christine. Upon arrival my husband couldn’t believe the cabin was so much more that he expected. The cabin is private, tastefully appointed to make you feel welcome and relaxed. We picked blackberries and made an outstanding blackberry pie! An amazingly beautiful 40 minute drive to the coast. Also, every single back road is a new adventure. The cabin and baths were super clean (bring soap and shampoo) and roomy. The deer and turkeys came almost every day to eat apples from tree. 12 miles there is a town called Drain with a complete grocery and restaurants. The Tyee landing on 138 had good burgers, etc and great setting on the Upmqua. Hired Scott Wolfe for fishing guide it was great, he was able to get to parts of the river we would have never seen. I couldn’t believe how relaxed we would get there at the cabin. Nights are beautiful and quiet. It is everything it claims to be and more. Many thanks to Christine and her family. • Loved our stay at Little Creek Ranch

"We stayed at the Ranch for 4 nights in July. We loved staying in the cottage and it worked great for 3 adults and 1 child. Debbie was a warm and wonderful host, she left us a basket of treats and some of the most delicious eggs from her chickens. The cottage was very comfortable and clean, the beds were very cosy, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and it had Wi-Fi so we could use our laptop for researching things to do in the area. One of our favourite things to do was to have a glass of wine in the evenings, sit on the swing and watch the horses in the field. Our 8 year old son had such a great time he loved going to feed the chickens with Debbie and getting hay for Haywire, and thanks to Debbie he got to ride a horse for the first time which he loved so much. My brother in-law is an avid birdwatcher and he got to bird watch and see many species of birds. We went on some great walks around the ranch and saw some gorgeous sunsets from the hill. We had an amazing stay and are really looking forward to our stay next summer."

  • Great spot!

"This is a great location if you want some privacy. The home was plenty big enough for the 12 of us although with only 2 full baths (one in the master bedroom) and 1 half bath, it made things a bit tight for the 4 adults and 6 kids who were not in the master bedroom. Plenty of space for TV in one room and games in another. Big kitchen, very well stocked. Great view, a hot tub that got plenty of use but forget using the pool unless it's in the dead of summer since it is solar heated. Nice property."
