"What a thoughtful, luxurious, creative place to stay. The kids loved the game room in the double garage, the koi pond and the dunk pool. The adults loved the stocked and roomy kitchen, the woodland art throughout, Sue's accessible, timely and helpful correspondent and that the kids were so happy. Just the right distance from GP in a picturesque setting."

"Our quilting group has stayed at the wonderful Lodge several times now and each time is better than the last! The facilities and kitchen are great for big or smaller groups. It is a beautiful, big house with a great homey feel to it. The host ,Liz , is very helpful and knows all about the area. It is a wonderful place to walk, sit on the deck, enjoy the views and just relax. We go there to sew, visit, and eat wonderful meals but it would be a great family reunion spot with all the bedrooms and spacious living room area. I highly recommend the Crystalwood Lodge!"

"The house was a great choice in a lovely town. Easy walk to the Britt Festival amphitheater and the shops, cafes and trails of Jacksonville, an old gold-mining town which contains a National Historic Landmark. There was a medium-sized grocery store two blocks away. The house was well appointed, well stocked and in good repair. It was a good size for my wife and I and two young-adult sons (they shared the main floor bedroom). My one caveat would be that if you rely on wifi, you should bring a mobile hot spot or air card -- the router for the wifi was in a neighboring house and the signal was not strong enough to get a reliable connection."
