"Our review echoes what is already on the site: this cottage is adorable, updated, well-maintained, pleasantly quiet and comfy. We ended up having our adult daughter with us and Sarah and Shady graciously provided bed linens and blankets so that our queen-size aerobed which we put in the living area would be comfortable. Truth be told, it was a bit crowded for three adults (but perfect for two, so we'll definitely be back by ourselves) though we certainly managed for the duration of our stay. We had occasion to cook in the kitchen and found everything we needed to do so, although the space would be a bit tight for anyone wanting to do a lot of fancy stuff. The fridge was full size and very clean, as was everything in the cottage. We really loved the design and the space utilization in the small but efficient bathroom. There was good lighting and ventilation everywhere and we appreciated the clever nighttime/daytime blinds in bathroom and bedroom. The cottage is as cute as the pictures - not the case with every VRBO/HomeAway property we've visited. Sarah and Shady were delightful hosts and we enjoyed our conversations with them. Can't wait to return!
P.S. Once we parked the car, we didn't use it again at all as everything we wanted to do was within easy walking distance (and on pretty flat terrain which is not the case in some places in Ashland)."

"The home was a perfect rendezvous to meet up with friends from Calif. The owners were extremely helpful and available through out our stay of 2 nights. We could not have asked for a more conveniently located home, just a stone's throw away from Brandborg, the Oregon 2015 winery of the year and other wineries as well. We had 3 wonderful meals at Tomaselli's and again just across the street. The home had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We definitely recommend this rental."

"We rented this property in Medford for a bridal party of 5 including the bride. All 5 were coming from Canada so it was great to have all stay together. The 2 1/2 bathrooms for the girls to get ready in was a life saver. One of the bridesmaids had her infant with her so she really appreciated the playpen.
One of the best things was having the full kitchen. Being able to have food readily available when they were hungry was perfect. It relieved the stress of having to organize everyone to go to a restaurant.
Both the back deck and the master bedroom deck were lovely to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. However the second one was spoiled by the next door neighbour's deck which was littered with dog feces.
Two things that would of been helpful in the unit: a hair dryer and a pair of kitchen scissors.
The unit was clean and had an abundance of linens. Some of the blankets looked a bit ragged but they were clean and warm.
This home was in a great location. Close to shopping and the interstate.
All in all, the girls really enjoyed their stay and appreciated having the home atmosphere and space. Much better than staying in 3 hotel rooms."

"This was the best vacation ever for our young teens, who spent hours every day splashing and floating in the beautiful creek, which is warm and deep enough for comfortable swimming. It is also crystal clear. The river access is private and picturesque, and a small bridge spans the river for safety so kids are not at risk of drifting downstream. Both the deck on the house and the big deck right on the river have been restored with Trex so they are dry and sturdy and sliver free. The property appears to border national forest land so there is room to wander and sleep out under the stars.
Only two miles away is the Crescent Lake resort with jet ski, paddle board, and other rentals which is a big draw for teens (jet ski drivers must have a driver's license). Our kids also loved Odell lodge, another couple of miles down the road, with great swimming and delicious restaurant food. We did a beautiful hike into the Diamond Peak Widerness from a trailhead right at the Crescent Lake Junction.
A frame cabins are naturally a little tight in the corners, which is fine because you mostly can "live" outdoors. The kids loved the spacious loft and there are many windows you can open up for ventilation. The owners have added operable windows throughout and a dormer for height in the bathroom. One thing we really appreciated is that absolutely every kitchen implement, tool, and accessory you might need can be found. Unlike some rentals where you don't even find salt, pepper, or cooking oil, this one has condiments, spices, and pretty much anything you might need for cooking. The gas barbecue on the deck works great.
And finally.....the best part of this vacation from the adult perspective was the lack of wifi! Kids were unplugged from their phones so we played games, talked, hiked and swam without distractions. A great experience overall that felt to the older generation like the cabins retreats of the 1960s."
