Absolutely stunning and comfortable home in Ashland!
"We spent a long weekend in this lovely, lovely home, located just a very short and easy drive (about 10 minutes) to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and historic downtown Ashland. It was so spacious; our children could each have their own room, and the public spaces were roomy and comfortable. The deck is huge and has stunning views, and the hot tub was a bonus for our kids. We had "surprise" visits from a group of wild turkeys each morning plus some deer and raccoons, and the stars on our one clear night were incredible due to the lack of light pollution.
The house is well appointed; there was nothing that we needed that we couldn't find. Although the house sits high on the hill and feels as if it is a world away from everything, grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, and several great outdoor outfitters (for fishing and whitewater rafting) etc., were within a 5-minute drive.
The owners are wonderfully responsive and checked in with us to make sure our stay was comfortable. We will definitely be back - this house was such a treat."

"Really clean and comfortable home. Very shady back yard for the dogs and for entertaining in the evenings. Vegetables front and back are available for picking. Home is conveniently located. Owner is very responsive and will do whatever is necessary to ensure that you have a comfortable vacation house. Absolutely tops on our list for a return visit."

"This house is so beautiful! The kitchen has all things you may need. It's just a little walk across the lawn down to the river where there are a few chairs and a sandy area. There is a swimming hole right at the sandy area. There are a couple of garter snakes that live right on the rocks there. They will move out of the way for you. The South Umpqua Falls are about 20 minutes up the road. Be sure to wear rafting sandals or tennis shoes in the water and only walk on the thick mossy areas because it is slippery! The closest grocery store is Ray's in Canyonville, so make sure to stock up on food before heading to the house. This house is seriously amazing. We will definitely be back!"

"Four generations gathered for a rare reunion on the West Coast. Plays were a focus in Ashland but we loved the farm with hangout space for the whole group or subsets. We enjoyed "gate walks" from the house to the entry gate in early morning and at dusk to catch the big sky sunrises and sunsets over the mountains. A small deck perched on the edge of the plateau was a favorite for breakfast or wine and star-gazing. We came during a heat wave but between the pool, the shaded patio and the air-conditioned play/eating/living spaces indoors we always enjoyed ourselves. Lavender Farm is a truly beautiful retreat space."
